I reduce my 5-star rating again back to 1 star, since presently, it's not working anymore. Almost all the videos that I faved since version 4.4 came out (which were unblocked by this addon) are not working anymore. Google found a new way to block it.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.4).
Wanted to use it to watch blocked Youtube videos in Germany, but it doesn't work.
Not useable for me, since it made the close buttons disappear.
It's not working in Firefox 12, and they don't give a damn or what? Also, when you go on their website, try to find anything clear about what once was Piclens. They want to dump it?
I just know (and other reviewers say the same) that there was no link whatsoever anymore on their website about CoolIris. Well there's one now. "Check out the new Cooliris 1.12". The 'new' version 1.12 is more than one year old!
Can't live without it!
I just wonder why the 'check version' function in FF never found any newer version after (I believe) 0.9.1.
I was stuck on that version and when upgrading to FF3.5 AutoCopy didn't work anymore. All other AddOns were correctly reporting newer versions (if any) but not this one. I actually came here to look for an alternative.
Don't listen to the comments of really stupid people, that don't know how to use this. I wonder how they are able to boot up their PC in the first place.
NoScript is efficient, does what it should, is easy to handle, and doesn't hinder your surfing experience after the first two or three days (when you have whitelisted your most visited sites by then).
