It's adware, it tries to get you to download their 'Ultimate' product.

Used to be very good though the smart file naming never worked.
However, I confirm that it is now broken and does NOT work on late Firefoxes. I am running 30.0
So sad to see it go.
Stopped working Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I am using Firefox 16.0.2 and I just noticed that Stay-Open Menu is not working at all. Latest version of the add-on. I had Tabs Mix Plus and Web Developer installed, I have removed them, S-O M still doesn't work.Damn shame. Could be my profile but I'm not resetting it and repairing all the damage that causes.Think Firefox's era is coming to an end actually, though Chrome won't get my vote till it gets a Master Password and a Go button.
Update: I can't figure out how to reply so I'm doing it here. Many thanks for getting back. Unfortunately I'm not going to be updating Firefox anymore as just too much stuff breaks every time they fiddle with it, so I'm staying on 16 from now into the foreseeable future. I hope you get the update changes working, this add-on of yours really does restore a vital missing piece of core functionality FF should always have had.In the meantime I've upped the review to 5, but I'll have to check the older version works.Keep it up! ;)
Update: Confirmed 2.1 works with FF 16.0.2 - Manythanks
Good! Please update! Rated 3 out of 5 stars
The rating is a pure guestimate. I have to laugh at the first poster, the criticism that this is 'colab' software is utterly ridiculous. Stephen Fry tried with Pushnote but they got the implementation completely wrong. This really looks like something going in the right direction. PLEASE UPDATE FOR FF 16+ !
It needs to work again Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Well, now that Mozilla obviously never got round to developing this functionality themselves, how about updating it? I am running 17 and it doesnt work - I couldnt get it to work on 16 (which is very broken anyway) either. This is a great Add-on, and really it should be part of the Thunderbird Addressbook system. I don't plan to stay with Thunderbird into the far future, as their refusal to move away from mbox to Maildir has just placed them well and truly in the Too Silly To Persist With basket, but in the meantime its my main email client and I really like being able to flush the filters backwards as well as forwards. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.5).
