uBlock₀ is an amazing privacy tool, and gorhill should be commended for creating such an outstanding product.
I refuse to resort to the childish tactics of certain other reviewers by rating this one star as they have the original µBlock after gorhill asked Chris Aljoudi to take it over. I will say, however, that maintaining two separate projects with practically the same name that don't seem to diverge in functionality at all makes little sense, is confusing to users, and is counter-productive. I hope these two great projects can be reunited soon!
Finest privacy extension for Firefox Rated 5 out of 5 stars
µBlock is an amazing add-on! I recommend it to everyone I meet. While it can function as an efficient ad-blocker, its true power lies in its "advanced mode" dynamic blocking ability, which combines addons like RequestPolicy and NoScript. Only load the content *you* want, not whatever third-party scripts and tracking images marketers and data miners want you to.
Also: A special thank you to Chris Aljoudi (and Alex Vallat) for taking over maintenance of this add-on at the request of the original primary developer!
Good for what it has to work with Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Contrary to the review by s above, this addon does **NOT** contain any spyware or Amazon search. The source code is available--just download it and see for yourself.
This extension simply loads Google's Hangouts widget, the same one you see in Gmail or Google+, in a separate window of its own. I don't find this particularly useful, but if you do, this extension works. Unfortunately, Google won't release an actual API for Hangouts, and have gone completely proprietary with their once industry-leading chat platform. This extension makes the best of a bad situation, but it doesn't come close to the usability of Google's own Hangouts extension for Chrome, unfortunately.
For now, I will be sticking with Pidgin for my desktop Hangouts conversations.
Nice addition, but missing features Rated 3 out of 5 stars
My #1 complaint about this extension is that it disables Firefox's native ability to search open tabs with %. I've got 322 tabs open, and I need to be able to search them easily.
Also, I really don't want suggestions for search keywords. I want suggestions for actual websites...the search results themselves.
I really want something that works as seamlessly as Chrome's Omnibox. Having keywords for other searches is great, but 95% of the time, I just want it to default to Google. The other 4% of the time, I want it to search my open tabs, a function which seems to be disabled. Using % to search open tabs doesn't work at all. This is essential for me. Looking forward to improvements in future releases.

Nice add-on. Does the best it can, considereing Google's unfortunate abandoning of standards and lack of API support for Hangouts.
Conversations currently have the ability to "pop out" of the hangouts window. I would like to see an option to trigger this automatically.
Currently, window resizing functions poorly. If the window is on the right-edge of my screen and I close a hangout, the window resizes to the left, leaving a gap between it and the edge. If it's on the left-side, it does the same, resizing to the right.
Also (and I realise this is probably up to Google), I would like to be able to use multiple Google accounts at the same time.

This add-on works well and gets the job done, without having to restart the browser like other, older extensions. It is an essential add-on now that site-specific user agent overrides have been removed from Firefox.
It really needs a list of pre-defined user agents so I don't have to go hunting for them to copy-paste each time. It could even automatically import the list from User Agent Switcher:
It would also be nice if it could integrate the functionality of User-Agent JS Fixer so that two separate extensions were not required.
Essential add-on Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I've been looking for an add-on like this for years. It is very useful. The only problem is that there is no easy way to specify new links to be cleaned, like a regex or something to describe the transformation. This would be useful, since the author can't possibly hope to capture *all* such links on the internet! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (22.214.171.124.1-signed).
Useful shortcut, works well Rated 4 out of 5 stars
One issue: in FF29, if I move JSOff to the menu, while customizing it disappears entirely--no icon, no descriptive text, just a completely blank space. Once I Exit Customize and bring up the menu, it appears normally as it should.
No description Rated 4 out of 5 stars
If the developer bothers to write a description of the extension, I will update my review. Until then, don't install something without having a clue what it does!
Edit: The Mobile AMO site looks very different than the desktop site. It doesn't list the extension as a dictionary/language pack, which is why I was unsure of its purpose. Sorry, I guess there is no way for me to delete this review.
Rated 2 out of 5 stars
Sadly, I must give this extension 2 stars only, as it makes my browser unusably slow. I really like the idea, but it's not very helpful if it kills Firefox on my poor netbook. I really love the idea of this extension, and I really hope the developer is able to resolve the speed issues! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.3.1-signed).
Not restartless Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Really dislike that this add-on makes me restart my browser for what is likely little more than a userscript. Hope to see this fixed in future versions. Otherwise seems to work well.
Functionality now built-in to Firefox. Extension is redundant. Rated 3 out of 5 stars
I just want people to realize that this functionality is now built-in to Firefox. There is no need to install this extension any more!
Good Expression Search, but missing GMailUI! Rated 4 out of 5 stars
"Expression Search" works well, but I wish it integrated with Thunderbird Conversations to really emulate GMail.
But what about "GMailUI"? I used to use this extension to switch to GMail's keyboard shortcuts, yet this functionality seems to have been removed since then? Please restore this functionality, I keep inadvertently marking all my messages as junk!
