MathJax Native MathML

More than I asked for! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I just wanted a plugin to make MathJax use MathML by default on all sites. This plugin does that, plus more (such as disabling the MathJax preprocessor for sites already using MathML etc.). Excellent! Thank you!

For example, this page:

https://cdn.mathjax.org/mathjax/latest/test/sample.html

Before using this plugin:
8.51 seconds to render

After using this plugin:
only 1.59 seconds to render!

I found out about this plugin via the excellent MathJax Native MathML plugin here. Look at how it works on this page, for example: http://www.encyclopediaofmath.org/index.php/Lie-admissible_algebra

UAControl

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Unlike UserAgentSwitcher, UAControl actually allows site-specific overrides, despite general.useragent.override.A.SPECIFIC.SITE not working in FireFox 34 and up.

User Agent Switcher

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Nothing like the Chrome user-agent switcher plugin, the latter allowing user agents to be selected based on URL patterns etc.

LastPass Password Manager

Why would anyone trust their passwords on a remote server, even if supposedly encrypted? And they charge to use a YubiKey! Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Why would anyone trust their passwords on a remote server, even if they are supposedly encrypted? Who knows what the klutzy code is doing in the background.

I installed this, and it took a very long time to import my passwords. Then, when I realized they charge for a premier subscription plan just to be able to use my YubiKey, I promptly re-imported my passwords back into FF, and that took a long time as well, freezing up FF! I removed this dubiously secure plugin and deleted its preferences it littered in my prefs.js file.

The best thing about this plugin is that it inspired me to change my passwords for my important accounts!

Avoid this kludge like the plague!

I love the starry background.

Encrypt if possible

Doesn't work in TB 24.5.0 Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This doesn't work in TB 24.5.0, and, yes, I did set it up correctly.

Dynamic URI changer

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

It doesn't appear to support backreferences…

Also,
searching for

.blogspot.com

and replacing it with

.blogspot.com/?m=1

to make all Blogspot blogs load the mobile version of the homepages, doesn't work. E.g., visiting

http://anexampleblog.blogspot.com

goes into a regress, yielding

SpeakingFox

Works only with simple HTML Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Whenever I try to speak lots of paragraphs spanning complex HTML, it won't do it whereas Safari always can; therefore, SpeakingFox only works less than half the time for me.
