My Reviews

YouTube Video and Audio Downloader (WebEx)

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Love it. Does exactly what I want, and even has a visually pleasing interface.

Tree Tabs

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Even in just the past the month that I've been using this addon it's come along very nicely. The simple - Tree style tabs that work. Also - I love the new tab grouping feature set!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0).

Tab Suspender (memory saver)

LOVE this addon! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I've only been using it for a few days, but the performance improvement is noticeable - I can pretty quickly find myself with 50 to 100 tabs open when I'm researching something, and this research can span several days in which I want to keep several tabs open to be able to refer to again quickly, so you can imagine the opportunity for a performance gain is significant.

BTW - a previous reviewer said that if pinned tabs are suspended at the time that firefox closes, the pins are lost on restart. This is not the case for me.

On restart all tabs are restored properly - pins and all. Even the suspended status of each tab is restored... though it occurs to me that other addons I have could be responsible for this too - test results on your own setup.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2.4).

Does exactly what I need. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The title says it all - I've had zero cause for complaint with this addon... well, with the exception that it is not yet compatible with FF 57. Hopefully that happens.

Tab Tree

Great, but... Rated 3 out of 5 stars

This plugin seems to do everything it's designed to do just fine, but there is a feature that I'm surprised to see missing from it. In the old tree style tab addon there is a button beside each tab tree that allows to you to collapse and expand it, but nothing like it in this addon. This is a pretty critical feature of a tree-style tab solution. Am I missing something? Until that feature is added I'm going to revert to forcing the tree style tab addon to work.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4.5).

Tab Kit

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It's been so long since we've heard from the real developer that I think it's time to move on - I'm now using the "Tree Style Tab" addon on Firefox 5. It's not as nice as tabkit, but it has the essential features I need.

Reframe It - Post & share comments on any webpage

I was about to excitedly install this addon when I noticed the following condition in the terms of use form:
" 2. YOU agree REFRAME-IT shall have a permanent, irrevocable, non-exclusive license (with the right to sub-license at REFRAME-IT'S sole discretion) to use any material you post to the REFRAME-IT Margin/Comment Forum to be used in any manner or medium at REFRAME-IT's sole discretion. "

I'd love to use this addon - but I really do not like those terms. I'll give it a two for potential until these terms are changed to give me (YOU), full license and control over all of my postings.
