Abandoned project Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Neither the web site or the article about using this add-on is available anymore. The problem seems to be due to the "New Novell Developer site". I tried searching for miru on it.
The add-ons mirror has a version that works with 3.* Rated 4 out of 5 stars
http://forum.addonsmirror.net/index.php?showtopic=1906 has a modified version of the add-on that supports 3.*, plus another 3.* version that includes a bug fix. Scroll down to the bottom of the web page to find them, the version at the top only supports 2.*See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Updating_add-ons for how to either bump the version number or bypass the version checking. If you do that it works with 3.1.6

It works fine with 3.0.6 under Vista SP1. However, all I wanted it to do is let me toggle the sidebar. I can use F9 or the toggle button on the toolbar but they're not as intuitive as the sidebar notch in Opera. Perhaps someday there will be a lite version with just the "tiny" features. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.1.2008052801).

Its so sensitive you're constantly losing the sidebar when you still want to see it. I prefer the way Opera implemented it, with a notch on the side that you click. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0).
Doesn't match the screen shots Rated 1 out of 5 stars
There must have been some incompatibility with my copy of Thunderbird 220.127.116.11 under Vista since the toolbar buttons don't have icons, the message pane showed text from my browser session, the font looked terrible, and the background color of the folder pane was not white. I've never run into that type of problem with a theme before. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.1).
