My Reviews

Organize Search Engines

could be a five... Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I really like what this extension does and for the life of me, cannot understand why FF doesn't have this functionality in the first place. It basically works with FF7/archlinux, but only 4 stars because it breaks adding any search engines while enabled. Easy workaround, just disable it when you need to add stuff, no big deal but I hope it's fixed soon. Nice work anyway and thanks for a very useful extension!

Thanks for a very useful addon!
Seems to work fine with FF 6.0, no probs at all so far.

Targeted Advertising Cookie Opt-Out (TACO)

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Apparently there are some bugs here, under certain conditions. I am an Ubuntu/FF user and I tried it for a bit and Myspace worked fine for me and still does, no probs at all. It's a little too heavy and too glitzy for my taste so I just removed it. No trauma at all.
Maybe it's an unfortunate combination of extensions thats causing the Myspace issues for some folks? I don't know but obviously the problem is not occurring in every case.
I'm using Lucid Lynx with FF 3.6.8 w/noscript installed. I clear my cache and cookies often and $HOME permissions are set to 750.
The only reason I removed it was it seemed to bog things down a small amount but no worse than letting WOT block sites versus warn.
I'm giving it a 3 for concept and effort.

Bookmarks Tab

Excellent Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This extension is one very practical and useful idea. Ergonomically, one of the best ideas I've seen in a while and it does exactly what it's supposed to. It saves clicks, making for faster and easier browsing and makes a lot more sense to me than opening up a default home page in a new tab. Very light, simple and clean. Nice work! Kudos, five stars and thank you!

I love it. A good solution to the atrocious tab appearance FF has under Ubuntu. Very clean and simple. Seems to get along great with the "Super Tab Mode" extension too. Perfect for wide screens. 5 stars! Thank you.

Well, it worked okay on Vista but I just tried it with Ubuntu 10.04/FF 3.6.3 and all the remove ad and click tracking boxes etc. are greyed out and unselectable, had to remove it, dead weight.
