Works like it should but I wish it had a larger icon for easier clicking and viewing. The thing is extremely small. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.5.1).
As you know anything can get hacked and I would never want to have all of my bank passwords shared online for a hacker to grab. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.90.4).
This addon is great but it looks like the Edit Protection List doesn't get saved. I want sites like Hulu.com to save the starting point information of the last video I viewed and when I tried to whitelist this site it wouldn't be saved. I hope the author of this addon fixes this. I use FireFox 3.6.22 and BetterPrivacy version 1.67This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.67).
I love it but can anyone please tell me why in the world he made the url popup only about 50 pixels wide? I am a developer and it floors me why other developers do such stupid things. I release over 100 scripts and I never do any stupid things like that and people never complain about my scripts only suggest additional features sometimes. It would also be great if you allowed multiple urls submissions at once in a larger textarea. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.1.1). Works perfectly, allows me to block links from spammers on forums that cannot be banned. Now I do not have to view their topics. This addon doesn't mention that you can even block links from within the sites that you like, which is what I needed this for. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.1.1).
How come this must have addon never works? Also, why is there only one person developing it? There are some of us who have a ton of bookmarks and it sucks scrolling up and down the list. I place bookmarks in different directories but there are still too many. Can you please make this addon work? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2). Same here, it doesn't work in 3.6.2. Please update this as it is a much needed feature for my laptop which uses a smaller screen and the bookmarks use up a lot of space horizontally. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2).
Excellent, exactly what I was looking for. I think the option to hide login form should be password protected though. That way someone cannot just easily disable it in the option menu. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.4).
I have to disagree with SingleWolf, I find this addon to be much easiler than ColorZilla. As a full time programmer and designer, I need to copy matching colors on a daily basis. I used to take a screenshot of the page, open up a paint program, paste, and use the color picker. I love the simple inspector option, it simply displays a little square with the hex values of any area I mouseover which is exactly what I needed.
You should make the toolbar icon turned on by default, since at first I thought I had to go through the tool menu every time until I checked out the Addon's options to see that you can add rainbow to the toolbar.
It works, thanks this feature should be built into FireFox since I do not want certain fields to get filled with old text that I have typed a long time ago. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2).
I like it, and even though there is a custom repeat option, it would be great if there was a "Semi Annual" or "Quarterly" option for the repeat dates. My business taxes are due quarterly, and my car insurance, web hosting is due every six months. So those are common billing cycles and should be added as default recurrence options. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.9.6).
"Yeah... or how about just "paste and go" where the tab gets opened automatically... Why do I have to open the tab myself?"
I was going to post the exact same thing.
Not bad, but there was a script I used for internet explorer that was even better. Because you when you mouseovered an image or table, you could see a border around the section you want to remove. Plus it didn't focus on only images or frames, it allowed you to remove any section of the webpage whether in html or CSS. So I was basically able to redesign web pages on the fly by removing all of the crap that took up the whole page. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1).
Excellent, exactly what I needed. Everyone bashes IE, but IE has features that other browsers do not have. Your addon allows Firefox to open up local folders and files normally, great job I love it. I love it even more when I discovered the shortcuts dropdown so you can hide the toolbar if you want to just use the dropdown menu. It cannot be any better. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3).
