Doesn't work as described. Rated 1 out of 5 stars
I don't understand why everyone thinks this extension is so great. A number of the functions do not work as they are described. Particularly, grouping by domain doesn't happen. When I open a link to another site it should start its own group, based on its domain. Instead, tabs are just opened under their parent tab. The only time a new group starts is when I open a tab from the address bar, search bar, or bookmarks.. I've tried every combination of settings and can't seem to get new groups to start when opening an external site, based on their domain. This extension is useless to me without this functionality. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5.12).
Excellent Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Very well implemented. Extremely useful, AND quick. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.5.5).
Why the status bar? Rated 4 out of 5 stars
This is ridiculous. Every clock addon for firefox displays in the status bar, inches away from windows time, despite the vast tracts of open space at the top of my browser. The tabs are up there. The url. The search bar. Toolbar buttons. Wouldn't it make sense to display the time in the area where my eyes spend the most time? Of course, this addon's author isn't responsible for other addons. And of those others, this one is the most attractive. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.78).
Important extension Rated 5 out of 5 stars
A near necessity. I've grown to rely on tab sidebar quite a bit. Works and looks much better than alternative vertical tab managers. Got my fingers crossed hoping it continues to work. and it does.
Excellent. Rated 5 out of 5 stars
One of the most useful and under-rated extensions out there. This is a high priority extension. One of the first I install. Place buttons where ever. buttons include undo, redo, cut, copy, paste, find, top of page, bottom of page, translate, text size, fullscreen, restart, update, about:config/plugins/cache, and a lot more. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.6.0.8).
Great extension Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Very useful. Improves url bar functionality. click the root directory or any other segment along with some other options. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.3).
Great extension Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Very useful extension. Simply makes text links into hyperlinks. Choose text color and/or background color. blacklist sites like search engines. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3.7).
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Highly useful. Integrates into the find bar (control F).. click 'find in tabs' opens a small window at the bottom of the window listing every found instance with its location. clicking the found item takes you right to it.
Great Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Priority extension. More control over privacy. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.45).
Why and how have I not found this before now? Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Excellent. A very high-priority extension. Just when i think firefox, and my browsing experience, can't get any better I find this.. and get totally blown away. How long has this extension been around? It's not like I don't stop by addons.mozilla.org regularly. I'm here at least once every two days or so. Okay sorry, first, an automatic list of most visited websites which is easily edited. A built-in text box for a to-do list.. Built-in shortcuts to programs.. An integrated search engine of your choice.. Optional skins. I've only used this as one of my homepages for ten minutes and I'm in love with it. Please stop reading my mind before I even know what I want. No don't.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.5.0).

I occasionally flirt with other tab management extensions, and I give this one an A for effort, but I'm sticking with tab mix plus for now. I use it in conjunction with the 'tab sidebar' extension that plugs into AIOS. And I rely on colorful tabs for keeping track of related tabs by url. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5.2009110501).
Excellent Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I've had none of the issues others have complained about. No conflict with tmp. Maybe users need help adding the associated toolbar buttons to the toolbar. As for re-creating the tab bar with all open tabs in the split window: bad idea. I think it would slow things down and unnecessarily complicate things. This extension makes comparison shopping exponentially more effective. Split browser has become another of the few extension i consider a necessity.
Excellent Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I'm very impressed with the added functionality. Non intrusive and intuitive. In addition to greatly improving searches this extension is going to replace Linkification, Autocopy, and Flashgot extensions. The option to add and remove any search engine of my choice would be an improvement. Otherwise, this is an excellent extension. I will return with more feedback after I've used it for a while. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0.0).
Please, developers?!? Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Would some benevolent soul please pick up this extension where the creator left off? I can do everything I need to within Firefox except browse files. I'd love to use Firefox as my primary interface. This extension has massive potential, and is one of the few I'd contribute money to.
quote from a previous reviewer:
"in a recent email conversation with the firefly creator he indicated that he was not working on firefly anymore at this time. He did not know if he would be getting back to updating this add on in the future. perhaps another writer could take this one over. it has great potential and should not be allowed to fall to the wayside.

Wow Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This extension is incredible. No more opening external editors.. fast and easy to use for anyone with basic image editing skills. This is one of those extensions that makes my jaw drop as I stare dumbfounded at yet another remarkable tool that exponentially improves the browsing experience and increases my power over data management. My heartfelt thanks go to the developer. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2).

Looks useful. I'd like to try it but, it's not compatible with FF 3.5.4
Simple and Effective Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Very useful. Icon placement could be improved. Excellent for quickly taking screenshots and saving them. Choice of .jpg or .png.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.96.2).
Absolute necessity Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Cannot browse without it. This is the second extension I install after adblock. NoScript may be too complex for beginners- but it's easy enough to figure out. It allows you to maintain control over everything java. Combine this with adblock and you've got a great shield against web annoyances/ threats. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (220.127.116.11).
