It instantly restored my lost Addon bar!
Thank you very much!
I wish there was a support address, but in the absence of that I have to write a review. I chose this extension because I wanted a highlighter that worked from the searchbar rather than highlighting on text on a webpage. I entered in the searchbar "Wolfgang Haenel Rauschning", which are names of two persons. I tried it on a page that has both men's names on it. It only highlighted Wolfgang Haenel and none of the numerous appearances of Rauscning. And subsequently I have been unable to replicate even the highlighting I got the first time. If I'm doing something wrong, please explain. It's really not working for me. I've tried it on multiple pages and the only thing it did anything was the first time as described. So I'm going looking for another extension.
Really, everybody needs this extension. Makes it very convenient, very easy to do virus-scanning of downloads, a major source of vulnerability. Will probably save you the need to scan them with your own anti-virus, since it's likely on VirusTotal's roster.
This extension relieves us of the cumbersome process of gaining access to "unsorted" bookmarks folders, which in my mind makes utilizing such folders an even more attractive option. Simply click on the toolbar icon, and you see your unsorted bookmarks and unsorted bookmark folders listed on the right side of the screen. Put your cursor over a folder, and you see the menu of its contents appear to the left. You can drag and drop bookmarks from one folder to another or from Unsorted Bookmarks to a folder.
Only problem is Open in a New Tab or Window are not enabled. Hopefully that can be fixed in the future.
Previously I had posted a one-star review because I couldn't find this extension after installing it. I found it on Pale Moon when I right clicked on the Navigation Toolbar and on the Status Bar and chose Customize. That opened up the Customize Toolbar box, from which one can drag the icon for this extension to the desired bar.
Thank you very much, Rebecca, for giving me a You Tube search function for my search bar in Comodo IceDragon and Pale Moon. I've been looking, looking, and looking for a way to get easy access to You Tube like I used to have with Google Toolbar. I intend to mention this on the Experience Project and on a WordPress blog I will start. And, yes, it works.
I added this extension to Comodo IceDragon, but so far I'm not seeing it. To be fair, it's not the first Mozilla extension that has failed to appear on my IceDragon, although plenty have appeared.
Reply : Yes, I do have the add-on bar in CID. It shows Lazarus, No Squint, Flash Video Downloader, and Memory Fox. It also shows Open Tab Count, which is red against a black bar, not easy to see. I disabled it in hopes that yours would show better.
