I really love this theme, but had to remove it right after install because I use the side bar for bookmarks and the side bar shows up in bright light grey and the rest of FF is dark (the way I like it).....the side bar needs to be dark like the rest. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.1.13).
The test version is perfect for me...I can use it to open in a new window instead of a tab,,,and, it now works fine with "InFormEnter"....Thank You!!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.8.1). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
Well, I made the changes in about:config and it works just the way I need it...BUT...the changes somehow affected the extension "InFormEnter"....the InFormEnter box no longer opens when you click on it's "arrow" icon next to any input field....after disabling Right Links, InFormEnter works again. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.8.1).
I almost didn't try this extension because of the reviews below, but I'm glad I did because it works very well....if you read the instructions and make sure your FF settings are correct, this WILL work...it has some great features!....Thanks!
This is an update to my earlier post below.
I just updated FF to 20.0.1 -- The problem has been fixed and "AskForSanitize" works fine....excellent extension....Thanks!
I am using FF 18.0.2 and it does not work...I can create a note but when I come back to the page the note is gone, even when I have the option set to put the note on the entire website (I tried all options...none work)....It is also very erratic...after creating the first note, it stops working until I restart FF....Also, when I click on the top of the note to move it, the note stays stuck to the mouse pointer even when I release the button and cannot be removed from the pointer unless I restart FF.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.0.6).
I am using FF 18.0.2 and it does not work....I tried it on this very page (add-on page for Prostetnic highlighter), the text gets highlighted ok, but when I come back to this page the highlight is not there....I then tried it on different web sites...same thing...once you leave the page, the highlight is gone. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (initial.rev530).
I installed this because sometimes I accidentally close FF when I am working fast and have more than one window open....BUT....it is useless to me because it only works if you have tabs open....I NEVER use tabs....I simply wanted a warning that I was about to close FF - even if there is no tabs open. (Yes, there are those of us who are not a slave to using tabs)
I used this for a long time, but after updating to FF16 it does not work properly....when you close FF, the delete history dialog box appears and when you click OK it keeps coming back again and again....I have noticed that it comes back the same number of times you have opened new windows....for instance, if you open 5 FF windows during a session, then, when you close FF, you will have to click OK 5 times...if you open 10 windows you must click OK 10 times etc. -- I have just updated FF to 17.0 and the problem is still there -- I have no option but to uninstall it and use something else...I hope this gets fixed because I like it alot. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.1).
Hi, I love the idea of a black version - but the link to it above says "add on not found" -- is there any way to get the black version? -- Thanks, chris. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.13).
Warning - This version of Yahoo toolbar will not only disable right clicks on the toolbar it self, but in my case, it disabled right clicks on everything within Firefox......no right clicks on links.....no right clicks on photos.....no right clicks on ANYTHING on ANY web page! -- I uninstalled it and right clicks are restored. - This thing is awful, besides the right click problem, it does not remember all of your settings after closing Firefox - also, the entire face of the toolbar appears as a fat ugly gray strip which does not change or work with any of the Firefox themes. It sucks big time. DO NOT INSTALL !!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (22.214.171.12400119091315).
This thing is great! Wow, what a difference! -- I`m running FF 3.5.5, on Vista basic 32. I read reviews from people about high CPU usage -- I`m running on a two year old laptop with only 512 of ram and single core cpu, and it works great - my cpu usage has NOT increased, but my page loading is almost 50% faster - and only using the default settings! -- If your computer is sluggish, I highly recommend giving this a try - it may not work for every computer, but it sure gave mine a good kick start! -- Many thanks to the developer. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.8.2Lite).
I agree with the others about bad content -- seems to be mostly pop culture.
There are two other problems -- there is no option to set text color, it`s always dark blue unless you mouse over, at which time it turns dark red, both are hard to see on a normal color scheme and impossible to see on a dark color scheme.
The other problem is......I assumed it would be a "scrolling" feed within a confined area, instead, it abruptly "jumps" back and forth which is very distracting -- I DO NOT recommend this.
