I am trying to create a text template "Title and URL" in which the title is separated from the URL by a new line:
However, this does not work.
There is no spacing whatsoever.
I tried \n but that did not help either.
And I do not want to use <br> as I believe that would force HTML output rather than plain text.
Any way to introduce newlines into text templates?
------- EDIT ---------
it was notepad i pasted into indeed, the newlines work in Microsoft Word for instance. thanks!
I love this add-on, but discovered recently that it is causing Firefox to not release memory after closing (all) tabs (at least on Windows 8.1 x64). Try this for a test - enable Tree Style Tab as the only add-on, open lots of tabs e.g. youtube videos one after another until you get Firefox to say 500MB of RAM (look at Task Manager), then close all the tabs but one and see if memory usage goes back to normal for one tab (about 200MB or 300MB). It does not for me. And this is much worse if I open loads of tabs and fill up memory to 1GB or 2GB. Now try the same without Tree Style Tab enabled.
Any replications and fixes would be great!
I'm using latest Firefox and latest Tree Style Tab (Ver.0.14.2014020901)
Truly useful and beautifully implemented add-on. I especially like that it can be combined with Copy Plain Text 2 functionality at will!
There is one more feature that I wish your extension had, which is available separately as CopyFixer (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/my-copyfixer/). I would love to be able to use this functionality together with AutoCopy 2, however, having an option to append the source URL to the clipboard contents (automatically on selection). As well as the templating/formatting possible in My CopyFixer.
Would it be possible to add the CopyFixer functionality to AutoCopy 2, perhaps in a similar manner to the way you added Copy Plain Text 2 functionality? That'd be awesome.
i was looking for this, so installed it, but opening a new tab is as it was before with either the Home Page specified under Firefox general options being shown, or when i press ctrl + t then just empty page. Is there a page i could point to mto make the bookmarks appear? i tried c h r o m e : / / bookrect/content/Book visilbe from your screenshot, but tahts not it ...This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1).
also, the first time i press Enter after writing smth in the find box, Find All results come up and nicely the focus is put into the results box, so that i can use arrow keys for instnace to go through the list. however, once the results box has been made visible, writing another search term and pressing enter does not give the results box focus any more... it woudl be great if whenever enter is pressed in the Find box then the focus woudl be set into the find all results box, regardless whether the results box was already visible or not ....... hope my descr makes sense..This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.2). Not compatible :( with Find All extension https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/find-all/ i would like to use both, here's the issue in detail: i discovered however that clicking on a result (in Find All) was not working any more in teh sense that it did not take me to the result in the main page even though i highlighted the entry in the Find All results box. did some investigation then and found out that the issue is due to conflict with Hide Find Bar extension. the only way i could get the "take to result on main page" functionality of Find All was to completely disable Hide Find Bar :( any chance the two could be made to work together?

i dont think the alternative addon at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4810/ does autofilling the speeddials depending on navigation, which is exactly what i was looking for, so thanks! unfortuantely, when i installed this addon i dont see it anywhere, should i press smth or how do i get to see it?This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.8).
i really like Multiple Tab Handler. and wondering whether you would be able to make it possible to drag tabs not only to say Firefox Library Bookmarks, but to drag and drop to an Outlook email as a set of links, or to notepad as a set of links, or especially to a Windows folder as a set of shortcuts (.url files)? that woudl be amazing! or are there extensions out there that already do these things? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5.2010111401).
I would like to echo others' enthusiasm for this extension, as well as the hope that you might be able to find time to add folder name search. In fact, if it would help, I would happy to do any coding for that feature for you? Alternatively, do you know of any other add-on that is able to search folder names?
is incompatible with https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5890/ unfortunately, makes firefox useless when both the modified glasser and the tree style tab are installed... any workarounds or updates that might solve the issue?
This addon is unfortunately incompatible with all new glasser extensions, e.g. New Glasser at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/12951/
i.e. if the glasser is enabled with Tree Style Tab, webpages become very fuzzy and mostly unreadable: could you provide me a workaround as i really would like to use Tree Style Tab as it is a fantastic extenison!, or is there a chance for an update?
worked out that my issue arises from incompatibility with Tree Style Tab (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5890/ )
are there any workarounds or ways i could fix it, or do you envisage an update? many thanks!
i would love to use it, and the frame looks wicked, but when i enable this addon the text on all tabs and webpages is becomes very fuzzy and 'out of focus'? (e..g right now as im typing here on this webpage) furhter, it makes most webpages completley unreadable.
i have a similar issue as perry, but instead of the webpage becoming totally tranparent, the text on all tabs and webpages is very fuzzy and 'out of focus'? (e..g right now as im typing here on this webpage) furhter, it makes most webpages completley unreadable.
firstly, i love this add-on! secondly, a question: is it possible to make the tree tab transparent throughout so instead of showing the firefox page content as seethrough it would show, in my case, the Windows desktop in the non-occupied space? do you know what i mean, like transparent Windows taskbar showing the desktop picture ? is this perhaps possible in synergy with some firefox theme?
please please update, i havent used you yet, but i have a big neeeeed!
great extension! im actually using the Add bookmark here from Bookmarks sidebar to bookmark ALL tabs under a selected folder in teh sidebar. for that purpose i was wondering if it was possible to create an optional shortkey e.g. if i rightclick a folder in bookmarks sidebar then the bookmark all tabs woudl come up straight away? or e.g. ctrl left click the specific folder in sidebar under which i woudl like to bookmark all the currently open tabs?
p.s. see also http://www.experts-exchange.com/Software/Internet_Email/Web_Browsers/Firefox/Q_25913646.html?cid=1333
i agree with previous that making the search also look in and return Bookmark Folders would be an amazing enhancement! i use Go Parent folder as well, but Folders are still not in the Bookmark Search list. ...
thanks for a great extension!
