Toolbar button works, but Ctrl+Q obviously doesn't, since it's the hotkey for "Quit" in Firefox. There's no options to customize hotkey for this extension.

Doesn't work for pages with framesets.

Geo

Even if the use of these meta elements has been niche, one isn't the loser when a site doesn't provide them - the same as with alternate stylesheets, feeds, universal edit button and similar stuff. Usable for testing. Existence of such a feature can nudge developers to include corresponding meta data in their pages.

Cookie Monster

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Although per-host cookie settings can be managed without it, this addon provides easy to use interface to these settings and cookie viewer. Settings used on current page are clearly indicated with the statusbar icon.

NoScript Security Suite

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Somewhat bloated, but essential. If it gets too much in the way, it's only site's fault.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.9.8.1-signed).

Firefox Sync for Firefox 3.5/3.6

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Using for over an year, no problems with it.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.6.2).

Brief

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Infinite scrolling doesn't always work (though scrolling a bit up and down fixes it) and it seems like it can't be disabled. Items being marked as read sometimes don't disappear from "unread" view until the whole view is refreshed. Otherwise, works great.

StyleSheet Chooser Plus

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Can be used to persistently disable stylesheets on a site. Provides easy visual hint (highlighted icon in statusbar) when there's alternative styles to choose from.

RefControl

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Essential. Block referrer for 3rd party requests.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.8.14.1-signed.1-signed).

Link Status

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Nice in the case you're already concerned with link target url, the icon (and visit time) appears near it. Visited links can't be visually sorted out though.

Certificate Patrol

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Essential. Would be nice to have some synchronization to detect certificate changes across networks (maybe via saving data to bookmarks like NoScript does).

If Google or anybody changes its certificate every several days, that's Google's problem and security risk for others. This addon does nothing wrong here. If you want an option to disable it for certain sites, consider using MitM Me instead.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4).

Longdesc

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Would be nice to have some way to discover images with longdesc without having to manually check with context menu or media list.

ReloadEvery

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

New "feature" is totally unrelated to this addon's functionality and description (it only mentioned in release notes). It should come as separate addon if anybody wants it and so automatically be "opt-in", "completely removable" (via standard user interface) and "pretty useful" (maybe).

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.0.2.1-signed).
