Primarily using it on Gmail, and it's incredibly laggy at times.
I see no way to "correct" Ginger in some things. It knows Plutarch, but doesn't know plutarchy. It really is the Democrat Party, not the Democratic Party. Can you tell I've been writing about politics much? :/
Maybe clicking the G gives me some options, but I use Nightly, and it's banging its head on bug #996069, so I can't complain that it's Ginger's fault for that crash.
I haven't really been doing enough shopping to know if this is truly useful for me or not. However, I am about to rip it out of my system and completely forget about it, since every time I hit the X to go the hell away, it comes back. Extraordinarily annoying when I'm on Google search and my search has nothing to do with shopping at all! Evidently clicking the X causes a refresh of the page, and IH decides it needs to pop up again. This is not good behavior by any measure. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.9.4).
Love this extension. Although it seems that it isn't working with 26.0a1 currently. I could have sworn is working earlier this week.
Excellent program for doing FTP. Better than stand alone FTP programs even! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.14).
I love this extension, although I don't really use it that often. I needed it today, and I couldn't find the icon!
Turns out, the icon now (with the .97.4c version) defaults the icon to the Navigation tool bar. A problem for me, as I have moved everything I possibly (Facebook Messenger is the one that I can't move) can to the Menu tool bar or to the status bar. And I never see the Navigation tool bar to see where the icon went!
Found, moved, happy now. :)
I hope that what I was listing was actually getting used.
Now, it doesn't even work under 20.0A1.
This extension should be blocked for 16.0+. It disables the arrow keys on Gmail, and also disables cut/past for Gmail and some (but not all) sites. After trying this on a fresh profile under 17.0A1, and it being the only extension, it clearly is this extension causing the issue.
And only until I wanted to reinstall the extension did I see that it was not discontinued.
If I knew where else to make the argument for blocking, I would
An excellent extension that does what it says on the tin. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.96.5c).
I like this extension a lot.
However, I'm reinstalling everything pretty much from scratch, and this is the second time where I have run into a site that does NOT make it obvious exactly WHERE to click to download the extension.
I would like the authors to think about this on their sites. I use Infolister and upload my configuration to my FTP site every time I make a change, and that gives me the home page for the extension. You don't have to drone on and on, I've been sold to install the extension, show me visually in a quick manner where to download it. A text link that says here after paragraph and paragraph (of other links) is not consumer friendly.
And then there are the ones that want you to solve an impossible to solve captcha to install the extension, which is a REAL WTF.
I'm venting, but I've been dealing with failing hardware (hence the complete reinstall of everything) for a week.
But I do love the ability of this to narrow down my search so much, without trying to determine whether I saw a keyword in the URL or the title.
Hence the five stars.
I second, third, whatever that this extension be made working for FF 4! Love it!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.3.5).
I love this extension under 3.6. Would be nice to have it working under 4.0 as well! Five stars since 4.0 hasn't been released yet, and I'm still running 3.6.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.6.18).
I'm too trained to be looking at the address bar to find out where a link is taking me. Much appreciated. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2011.01.17.02.3).
This really fills in some holes. The Google search is probably the most used for me. Instead of highlighting text, ctrl-C, ctrl-T (open a new tab), GO<space> (It's a keyworded search for me), Ctrl-V, it's now just one click. And yes, I'm keyboard driven, but if I'm already using the mouse to highlight, it's still better. :-p
I was having a display issue and the tech support was excellent.
Been using this on FF2 forever. Waiting for the update before I actually move completely over to FF3.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.38).
