My Reviews
eBay for Firefox
Rated 2 out of 5 stars
Latest version(s) won't keep me signed in and I have to sign in frequently. VERY irritating and makes the extension mostly worthless. If I wanted to have to remember to sign in frequently to monitor my auctions, I'd just use the regular website and get a lot better functionality to boot. An extension that monitors auctions but won't stay signed in is useless to me. Fix it!
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.1.8.1-signed).Better Flickr

What a shame -- doesn't seem to work at all. Looks like it was great before Flickr made some changes. What happened? :-(

Works fine, but loses a star for changing the favicon on unpaused tabs when my mouse just happens to go across it (latest non-beta FF for Mac), making it looked like unpaused tabs are really paused (when they're not the active tab, that is). Fix that and you'd get the star back.

(Tried to edit my previous review but just keep getting looped back to the edit screen in multiple browsers. Anyway....)
After using this add-on for a full day now, I find it lacking in some areas. Specifically, the radar and satellite images are only national overviews and not region-specific, which is disappointing. More customization in display options would also be nice. After discovering that Forecastfox could be tweaked to display temps in both Fahrenheit and Centigrade, and because of the above, I'm going back to Forecastfox but only disabling this one in order to be alerted when it's updated in case it gets significantly better in the future.

Really nice interface. I've tried several different weather add-ons and I think this is the one I'll stick with.
What I'm really disappointed to find lacking in every add-on I've tried is the ability to display temps in both Fahrenheit and Celsius simultaneously, e.g. "32°F (0°C)", which would be really nice as I use F but my best friend uses C and having both displayed would make it much easier to compare weather when we talk.

If you're using the MR Tech Toolkit add-on and don't mind overriding the compatibility check for this extension, it still seems to work in 3.6. Here's the direct link to the XPI:

Sure would be nice for this handy add-on to be officially updated, however!

Ummm ... okay ... WTF does this add-on actually do? Would be nice if it said. I'm sure as heck not gonna install it blindly and just hope Microsoft doesn't mess up Firefox as badly as they do everything else they touch.

I really like this add-on, but it frequently craps out (under 2.0.0.14) and requires me to restart Firefox before it will work again. (Just quits working and right-click just gives me the pop-up menu as if SL weren't installed. Doesn't matter which website I'm on.) If it were more stable, it would be perfect.
