Until the drag/drop isfixed.Install the "Move Tabs" addon - you can then use CTRL and left/right arrow keys to move tabs about. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.3). This user has 4 previous reviews of this add-on.
I find this addon essential, would really appreciate an update that allows drag and drop of tabs again.
As a workaround, if you have two FF windows open, you can drag a tab to the other window, drop it, then when when you drag it back you can drop it anywhere you like.
FFS Can't you people stop voting this addon 1 star just because a FF upgrade broke a feature. If it's 1 star then don't use it, don't whine.
This addon is great, give the developer a chance to bring it up to date.
If I were the developer and I had little babies giving me 1 star just because something broke then I'd cease development.
Did you pay for this? No? So grow up.
Love this addon and have been using for ages now.
I also occasionally get the Session Manager bug that others have mentioned.
In the last few days I've noticed that since I've installed FF 8.0, I can no longer drag tabs to re-arrange them. Anyone else have this issue?
As there has been no word from the developers regarding an update to this invaluable addon, I think we have to assume that it's not going to happen.
Although this is a great shame, it doesn't have to be the end of the road for Taboo.
The source code is available so it just needs another capable addon developer to pick up the baton and run with it.
Here's hoping that somebody will do so.
Hard to live without this addon - would love a Firefox 4 version when you have time :)
Please update this fantastic addon for Firefox 4 :)
I'm trying to use this addon in conjunction with All In One Sidebar.
If I set AIOS to display on the right of the screen, it also takes the Vertical Tabs over to the right as well.
Is there any way of having AIOS on the right, but keep the tabs on the left?
