My Reviews

Count Word Professional

The best of its kind Rated 5 out of 5 stars

So far, the best Firefox word-counter extension I've tried. Indispensable for writers and editors.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.1).

Bell of Mindfulness

A precious gift Rated 5 out of 5 stars

For those of us who get often absorbed on the computer for hours, this is so useful to remind us to breath, to stretch, to come back home. Thanks!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2.2.1-signed).

SlyZoom

Great, but it needs text zoom control Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Hi. This is a very good add-on, but it misses something in order for me to keep it as a restartless replacement for NoSquint: it needs to implement some way to control the "Zoom text only" kind of zoom.

For me, both kinds of zoom are very useful: the whole page zoom that SlyZoom controls, and the text only zoom that also incorporates Firefox.

NoSquint controls text zoom just adding the Shift key to Control-+ or Control-Mouse wheel. Then it shows you both zoom levels separate by a slash. This vastly improves Firefox default control, which resides in the Zoom submenu on View menu.

The zoom slider is a nice touch, but the main thing for me is to be able to set default zoom levels in each domain (which SlyZoom does, as well as NoSquint), and this text only zoom control that I'm talking about here.

Thank you sharing your work with the people. Hope this can contribute to it.

Tab Flick

Just one problem Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This is great. Just one problem: it shows a maximum of 9 windows on my screen, even at the lowest preview scale (10%). Please, allow windows to display on multiple lines, as the last reviewer suggested, or else allow for smaller previews, maybe at 5%..

Nimbus Screen Capture - editable screenshots

Very useful Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is a great add-on. Working great with FF 33 on Linux Mint 13. Thank you guys.

Babylon Dictionary Word Search

Great add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thanks a lot for this add-on. I use everyday so I gladly give it 5 stars.

There are a few things lacking, some already mentioned here, specially an option to invoke it just pointing to the word (mouse hover, no clicking nor selecting) while pressing a key (like Ctrl). That would make it usable with clickable words.

Also, a disable/enable switch toolbar button would be nice.

But the thing I mostly need is a way to configure a bigger font size. Due to my monitor settings, I have to do zoom the entire screen to be able to read it.

Toolbar Autohide

Really useful for everyday use Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great add-on, thanks! Among the few I use all the time. To make it even better, please give the option to also show the menu bar and the add-ons bar, that I brought back with an extension called "The Addon Bar (restored)"

fontdpi

Great tool Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is great tool for visually impaired people and for high resolution screen users.

Copy Plain Text - Jetpack

Needs keyboard shortcut Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Does what it says. But it needs a configurable keyboard shortcut (like Control-Shift-C) to be really useful for me.

Copy On Select

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Simple, effective, lightweight. I like the fact that copies text without formating. I would prefer it as a restartless add-on, but since I don't plan to ever turn it off, I might not miss that feature.

Diigo Toolbar - Annotate, Screenshot, Bookmark

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Diigo is just a great tool, and I gladly give it 5 stars. But I do feel they are neglecting the Firefox add-on on favor of Chrome's, which is very sad.

TabGroups Menu

The best extension for Firefox Panorama Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Having several hundred tabs open on my current session, this invaluable extension makes Firefox Panorama feature really useful.

I'm using version 0.9.1 on FF 21.0 with no real problems, just a few glitches with the toolbar button. Best to use it from the menus, if you dig keeping your menu bar visible, which I do just for this baby.

Panorama is great but has many shortcommings; this extension solves many of them. It's cleary the best in its class. I can't thank the developer enough.

Google Tasks Panel

It does work Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It does work on my system (Linux Mint 14), but it only shows at the bottom bar. This is a very useful add-on. It makes Google Tasks much more usable, and always available.

Gmail Manager

Available fixed version: Gmail Manager NG Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I tracked the fixed version announced here by Mint to user ath0mas (Alexis THOMAS) at GitHub (https://github.com/ath0mas/firefox-gmail-manager-ng). It is called Gmail Manager NG. It also has a link right here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/gmail-manager-ng/

Restartless Restart

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Imprescindible para recuperar el control de Firefox cuando se queda colgado por su exagerado uso de memoria en mi vieja Windows XP con 512MB de RAM.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (8.1-signed.1-signed).

QuickToolbars

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Essential extension. Please upgrade it to use with FF 3.6.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.7.5).

Word Count Plus

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Imprescindible cuando trabajas con texto en el navegador (Google Docs, Zoho, etc)

Creo que es la única extensión que hace esto; corríjaseme si no

Lo único que le falta para ser PERFECTO es que se pueda activar con una combinación de teclas.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2.1).

QuickPageZoom

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Useful add-on
