I really didn't think I'd need this. I described it to someone, and they too thought it was useless. I was very, very wrong.
I have many machines, and I am a bookmark monster. I bookmark sites I never go back to, and my folder structures are daunting. Problem is, I had to keep recreating those structures on each machine, as it was the way I am used to finding things.
Not any more. If you have more than one machine, grab this one.
Indispensable Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Been using it since the beginning of June, and can't imagine email without it. If you use email a LOT, then you'll love it. I've been in Gmail since the start, so I have countless hundreds-nay thousands-of attachments I have sent and been sent. There is no way to go find them in Gmail, much less search through them by filename, etc. This is the power of Xoopit. There is functionality on the xoopit.com site as well as the FF add-on, but I use the FF one the most.
In addition, I've been able to point out areas for improvement and those suggestions have been immediately and warmly acknowledged.
Sorting on attachment attributes, then sending them out is a very clever way to deal with the thousands of email attachments we all have in one or more accounts.
I can only expect gooder and gooderer things to come!
