missing essential feature Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Great add-on, but cannot remove spaces or separators from the toolbar once installed.
(The idiots at Mozilla don't say where bug reports are to be logged.)
confusing user interface Rated 3 out of 5 stars
CookieKeeper has a somewhat confusing user interface. In one window you can select to protect cookies, but another window requires you to exactly type in web sites that are to be protected (or blocked), and does not show the ones already designated as protected. Leaving aside the exact address window, which appears to be useless, the add-on is great. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (18.104.22.168-signed.1-let-fixed).
output file cannot be found Rated 1 out of 5 stars
cannot find the output file. the programmer claims a dialog box comes up to ask where to save it, but that does not happen on my computer. in short, this addon does not work.
no print file can be found anywhere. definitely NOT in the downloads folder, as the reply suggested.
huh? Rated 1 out of 5 stars
does not seem to work, or does so mysteriously.
difficult to remove saved items Rated 2 out of 5 stars
That it is difficult to remove items from the saved list was mentioned months ago. A good idea marred by a thoughtless lack of a crucial feature.
does not work Rated 1 out of 5 stars
nothing happens when the PDF or Print button are checked. useless add-on.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.2).
complicated Rated 2 out of 5 stars
There are no instructions for how it works. The lack of documentation makes it difficult to learn and use. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (22.214.171.124-signed).
next to worthless Rated 2 out of 5 stars
Disconnect does nothing but give a brief summary of what it thinks is loaded on the web page that you don't need. Its web page is a bunch of bluster about web sites spying on you, but has no real (technical) explanation of what Disconnect does.
NoScript is a far superior add-on that does what Disconnect claims to do.
doesn't work Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Tried saving extensions and loading them on a different machine to save the trouble of doing them one by one. FEBE did not work. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (8.3.1-signed).
stil confusing Rated 3 out of 5 stars
an explanation of the difference between "garbage collection," "cycle collection" and "memory minimization" would be helpful. this is a long-standing issue with this add-on. the developer should realize that his understanding is not self-apparent to users. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.95.1-signed.1-signed).
needs updating for Firefox 28 Rated 3 out of 5 stars
With Firefox v28, this add-on makes it more difficult to close a tab, by often requiring multiple clicks. It also retards the ability to drag-and-drop tabs. Worked well with previous versions.
lacking Rated 2 out of 5 stars
Lightning has limited features, and is not well thought out. For one, it only shows one month, when there is plenty of space to show several. The calendar should integrate with contacts for appointments. The developers should take a close look at Outlook and Efficient Calendar, and see what they are missing. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.9.1).
features? Rated 2 out of 5 stars
A lot of explanation with little clarity. I was hoping to be able to import vCard files with this, but cannot figure out how to do that, or if this add-on does that. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.1).
wrongly adds attachments Rated 2 out of 5 stars
MRC Compose automatically adds any attachment you used in a previous email to the next (current) email. It is a bug, as there is no way to turn this off. I can't figure out how to report this as a bug, which is also a bug.
The developer replied, but the link given has no entry point to report the bug.
Here is how to create the problem:
1) add an attachment (a#1) to an email (e#1)
2) send email e#1
3) create email e#2
4) email e#2 automatically has attachment a#1
Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Does not work with TB 17
can't remember its option Rated 2 out of 5 stars
This add-on cannot remember the options you select (v 17.0.6), which makes it less useful in seeing what you'd prefer not to see. I'm pitching it because it does not offer a convenience. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0).
well done and quite useful Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This is an essential add-on if you want control over your folder listings. Works at every level, from accounts on down to every folder level. Also allows you to set your preference for the startup folder. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1).
most excellent Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Needed to import .eml messages from The Bat!. This worked great. Nice work. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (126.96.36.199).
decent, weak documentation Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Works well enough once you figure it out. Typical of software developers, the documentation for this add-on is sketchy. If you don't know a lot about the technology, you will be confused. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (188.8.131.52-signed).
worthless Rated 1 out of 5 stars
buggy. difficult to use. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (184.108.40.206.1.1.1-signed).
