I got this so I could move a few individual bookmarks to the Vertical Toolbar and remove my regular Firefox bookmarks toolbar from beneath the address bar for a cleaner look and more vertical space. When I try to move an individual bookmark or folder to the VT I get the circle with the line through it, telling me it is not possible. I have the latest version of Firefox (26.0) and VT (1.0.5) and it still doesn't work. I'm trying to do this by a simple drag and drop from my existing bookmarks or from the address bar (just like the native bookmark toolbar). If that is not the proper method then the author needs to be more clear about the procedure. For the lack of this basic functionality (one of the main reasons for many people to install it, I'm guessing) I give it only one star. I tried the link to this add-on's home page in order to find a solution/leave feedback but the link was not functioning. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.5).
I really like this add-on and have used it successfully but it seems "half broken" now. In the bottom-right of my status bar I have only Simple Timer, Gmail Watcher and Ghostery (in that order). I want Gmail Watcher last (Yesterday it was last but not this morning. ??!) When I try to use UI Fixer to put Gmail Watcher in last position UI Fixer moves the three icons as a group, not individually. Now Ghostery won't move using it's limited placement capability in it's options panel. I've used UI Fixer successfully in the past to solve these issues but now it's moving things as a group and not individually.
I'm using PaleMoonX64 12.1 on Win7
Agree. I love this add-on and have been using it for years. stopped working today though. Status bar icon stays gray and can't log in, even after installing 6.4.3
Just hoping it will be fixed soon so that I can keep enjoying this worthwhile add-on.
Froogle search button has returned (in 4.7.2). Hurrah! Thanks very much Jonah! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.7.2).
Google Shopping (Froogle) search option dropped. Boooo! Used it all the time, IMHO a vital search. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.7.1).
I like it. I would request a "auto faviconize all tabs" choice in the options menu. Or in the alternative, a right-click menu choice to add a wildcard to your auto-fav list (of the current tab). This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.8.2).
Turns my address bar area black. Nice idea but doesn't work. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.0).
