Thanks... makes it easy to get expected behaviour. When multiple tabs are open it is too confusing and messy to have tabs open up in the middle somewhere. Another firefox feature that I wish they had left out. Thanks for making something so that I and others don't have to fart around with about:config in order to fix this firefox "feature".
Options are way too brutally confusing. There is NO documentation and the only web site for the add-on isn't a web site; it's a forum. I'm not a newbie. I was using the web before most people (i.e. when it was still a scientific tool). I am a programmer by trade. This hodgepodge of menus does nothing but give me a headache. I tried figuring it out, but after a half hour said screw it. I'll look for something that provides me a white list, since I know what sites I'll allow to set cookies. Good idea, poor execution. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.98.0).
I used to like this add on. Now it doesn't even work most of the time. I click on 'open pdf', I see a brief downloading message in the firefox status bar, and then nothing happens. It has been like this for a couple months now. I'm not sure why I kept it so long. I am uninstalling it as it is now a useless add on. I'm using FF3.5 btw. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (18.104.22.168).
I like it, but it can sometimes be annoying as hell. I would rather it not update so often (even though I know timely updates are good). The problem is, the update process is so intrusive it starts to annoy me after the 10th time I open a browser and the browser doesn't open because no script wants to update. And then to top it off, no script wants to open up a web page I have no f***ing interest in seeing (the no script web page), and which I have to close. Maybe there are ways to manually disable these things for no script, but it should not be a pain in the ass to find them. I agree it is a very useful add on, and thank you, but your update process is really annoying... to the point of not installing it on computers I don't do online purchases with. When I launch a browser I want to launch it, not click through a bunch of configuration options and closing stuff I don't care about. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (22.214.171.124).
Useless for the 90% of users who use Windows at work. I guess I'll have to use IE when I need to send a page, even though I would rather not. Try and get it to work with Outlook if you want more people to use it. Linux linux linux.... yeah yeah yeah... I use it at home too... but most in the world DON'T use it a work.... but we still like to use Firefox. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.6.2).
