In a little more detail...
a believer in the power of the Fox!
testing new version of an old gem Rated 5 out of 5 stars
thanks for doing this "labor of love" 5 stars for taking this project on!
i've switched to TreeStyleTabs, which has an auto hide feature and vertical tabs. so short of starting a new profile i can't at the moment test this.
please post: does this version work as expected? does it hide only via key-press, or timed / automatically? does it show via mouse-over? is it compatable with TMP? with tabbar on the screen bottom? generally, what tab-relaed extensions do people find it compatible / incompatible with?
i hope it works well, and merits implementation in a custom profile!

excellent concept and implementation.
one suggestion, to save real estate: make the menu title "more" instead of "more tools"

THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
now works with ff3.5! hooray!
CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT IT!
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
it would be GREAT if compatible with "Find Toolbar Tweaks" -- possible? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.0.4).
cind addon compatibilities Rated 4 out of 5 stars
it would be so GREAT if this were compatible with "Find in Tabs" -- possible? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.1.0).
this extension effectively disabled "customize" from right-click on a toolbar Rated 2 out of 5 stars
this extension has promise. it is primarily for japanese speakers, but does have an english dictionary -- though i couldn't get it to work, i presume it should offer to autocomplete search words being entered. but my biggest problem was that when i had it configured, effectively disabling the "migemo" feature since i don't speak japanese, the extension disabled use of right-click on a toolbar for customizing various toolbar buttons. yikes! as soon as i disabled the extension, "customize..." came back as an operative option. so i'll leave it disabled for now. i'd sure like to see this bad behavior eliminated, and a true dictionary autocomplete feature implemented in the FF search feature. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.10.6).
there is maybe hope... Rated 4 out of 5 stars
maybe this wonderful extension is being updated (slowly but surely)
maybe we all need to send will.moffat some love.....
or some currency!!!
bottom tab bar (tree?) doesn't work Rated 3 out of 5 stars
using with latest dev build of TPM, and FF3, the placement of the tabs on the bottom doesn't seem to work. the autohide feature is really great! there is so much promise with this extension. thanks. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.2008062001).
simple, solid, w/continuous updates Rated 5 out of 5 stars
The concept is simple, usefulness is indubitable, development is as responsive as ideas are generated by a grateful user base. this extension could be a MVP for many who like to quickly mark articles worth reading then return to them later for a leisurely read (even offline). access to the list can be by RSS feed, and syncing between computers is even provided by the extension (or for many already done by Foxmarks or Weave). GREAT work! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.973).
Trouble in Tabland Rated 2 out of 5 stars
i ran into the same problem as a previous reviewed -- a total lockup of FF3. It must be an extension conflict.
if you have this trouble, there is an easy fix -- use FF3's safe mode to load your profile, then simply go to add-ons and disable Tab Kit. (you can go ahead and re-enable TPM while you're there.) then restart, and all is well.
if anyone else has this trouble and is able to identify the conflicting extension(s), please post here. i'll try to find it myself, but this is a time-consuming project.
looks like Tab Kit is worth the trouble, but it is trouble to find a conflict, and terrible trouble to lockup FF3.
Great work! one little thing... Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Great Work! one little thing i'd suggest -- an option to always show the scope of the tab from the top-left, even when the actual tab is scrolled down. that way, on a tab without the title showing, tabscope would show the top/title. thanks for this add-on.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2.2.6).
