Works exactly as you'd expect in all ways but one: if you close a tab that used instantfox's search patterns, you can't reopen it, which I find a restriction that I hit often.
Otherwise it's a solid piece of software that speeds up searches and helps me access content that I'm looking for (in particular, it's great for quickly accessing wikipedia pages).
Fantastic. I always liked how Chrome allowed you to set up a "keyword" that would let you search a site. This addon does even better, allowing me to use a keyword to specify what I'm searching (eg, "w Gabe Newell" would take me to the "Gabe Newell" page on Wikipedia. Likewise, "i Gabe Newell" would search Google Images.)
The autocomplete is also very handy (can you spell "Eyjafjallajökull"? All I typed was "eyj" and autocomplete suggested the rest).
I love this addon, and really hope you get support for the 4.0 RC. The addon has been broken for a bit, and frankly, I miss it. Fantastic addon all the same! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.5.5).
Actually, I found it better to set the #pastebin-panel background-color to #AAA, and the #title background-color to #999. Any color that works dark enough to display white text works well, though #ebebeb is a tad too light, and the text is difficult to see then. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.1).
