Great addon but it is missing one important thing; an option that organizes suggestions/results/bookmarks in groups. Right now everything is mixed up together and it ruins what could be an outstanding experience. Please consider including such organization features. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.25.20140626).
I love this addon & recommend it.
Please consider the following request.
I use the find-bar at the bottom of the browser. Please include an option to move the highlight button, find-in-all-tabs etc next to the text box. It is annoying having to move the mouse from one edge to the screen to the other when those buttons could easily be next to the text box.
Before the latest update I was able to fast-download 1h50m long podcast [about 170MB file size] and covert it to MP3 [this process takes 2-4m] After updating the latest version download speed crawl down to 20+ Kb/s
*Download are started by pressing the MP3 button. Debug is not turned on. Volume control is not turned on.
Could this be an issue with the addon itself of has YouTube set to truly enforce their do not download policy?
Other than this issue, this is a great addon, I consider it to be the best of its kind.
The curent version doesn't work with Firefox v20.0.1. Settings are not retained. I have tried to change the color and font weight of the domain, including its size but these settings are not kept.
Please fix this.
Why is it that the version of LastPass available here is always weeks behind the LastPass version available over at www.lastpass.com? The latest version for Firefox is v2.0.20 which was released on February 7th 2013. The current date is 4/5/2013
Can anybody shed some light on this.
This is a great addon, one that offer options that I can't believe Mozilla hasn't even try to adopt. Tab Utility defines tabbed browsing. With that said, why in the heck does it take so long for Mozilla to review & approve the latest version of this addon. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.1). This user has 3 previous reviews of this add-on.

My mistake. It's just that out of the box Thunderbird is great but Thunderbird Conversations is what makes it Outstanding!
Thanks for taking the time to clarify this =)
Why isn't the latest version of this add-on compatible with the latest version of Thunderbird?I'm running Thunderbird v17.0.2 [the latest stable version of TB] yet the latest version of Thunderbird Conversations is only compatible with Thunderbird v19.0 - 21.0 and above.
When it works, this is a great application but from time to time it just breaks thus ruining the experience and ease of image-grab/editing/sharing that it gets you used to.
To the developer(s) I keep getting errors and image grab will not load to the online image editor.
An error has occurred, please try later!
[IOErrorEvent type="ioError" bubbles=false cancelable=false eventPhase=2 text="Error
The error above can be the one or just one of the many errors I keep getting. Please Fix this.
DuckDuckGo just released version 0.2.15 which fixes the toolbar button reset issue. As promised, I now rate this add-on 5 stars.
Again, thank you for providing us with DuckDuckGo.
Long time DDG user, new DDG for Firefox addons user.Normally I manually integrate DDG to my Firefox installation thus adding most of the features the DDG for Firefox addons adds to Firefox but I found the "highlight" a word for a definition and the "in the awesome/url bar instant definitions" enough of a reason to make me give this addon a try. To my disappointment there is a bug preventing me and several other users from removing the DDG for Firefox button for after restarting Firefox the button resets itself back to the navigation bar.
The DuckDuckGo addon developer asked for proof. I made a video http://youtu.be/oNW8VSIQXpEWhen the bug is fixed the addon will deserve a full 5 stars
Whoa, Bug 776290 has been marked as "RESOLVED WONTFIX" what a way to ruin not just this essential add-on but several others as well. I thought Mozilla was working on a way to fix add-on compatibility and not make add-ons obsolete
Firefox may have great add-ons but without an efficient way to handle tabs... Mozilla, you have pushed me, a loyal Mozilla fan, 85% closer to a browser I never thought about using, Google Chrome.
I really hope to see Tab Utilities rise again.
UPDATE: It works!!. The developer hit it right on the nail. Between the new Firefox menu button & me being used to finding addon's options by going going to "Extension" it never occurred to me to check under the Tool menu for the YoutubeMP3Podcaster addon options. Thank you very much Jeremy.
I used to love this addons, best of its kind, no doubt. Now after the recent two updates converting to mp3 is very poor, lots of skips and electronic like pitches, very weird. I no longer see a way to access the addon options to calibrate the file quality [e.g. as shown on the preview images on this page] Please fix this. The one thing I'm glad to see gone is the animated image waving back at you. Please
Why hasn't LastPass been updated to version 2.0.0?
I like to get my Firefox plug-in updates from Firefox. I just noticed that since June 18th, the LastPass Firefox plugin, has been at version 2.0.0. Why is the Mozilla addon website still distributing an older version of LastPass?
I have never had a problem with this addon. Now, for some odd reason, no download information is shown on the tool-tip and the scanning icon never resets back to the default.
---Here is a picture to better illustrate my post.----
I hope this gets solved soon.
Download Statusbar 0.9.10
Antivirus: MS Security Essentials
-If this isn't the right place to report a bug then please guide me in the right direction. Thanks.
Mozilla should integrate Tab Utilities with Firefox. In other words, tabs are next to useless without it.
Please bless us with a rapid update to bring Tab Utility up to speed with Firefox. Thanks.
It is sad to see that the developer of Gmail Manager has failed to release an official update for it. Has he given up on Gmail manager? This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
I've been a long time user of Locationbar2 and I would love to see it become compatible with Status-4-Ever; an addons that fixes one of Mozilla's poor choices for Fx4Status-4-Ever:https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/status-4-evar/
This is a revolutionary add-on; one that tells Mozilla to listen to its community and stop copying features found on competitor's web-browsers while completely erasing the option to disable them. When Mozilla decided to concise the Menu-bar into a single all-in-one Menu-button, they were able to foresee the need to maintain the ability of turning this feature off. How could they have not seen the same for the "Add-on bar" ?
|Thank you very much Sparky Bluefang for taking the time to write this addon up ^_^ Not only did you bring all that was missing, but managed to improve on it.
----Simple Request And/Or Notice to users of Locationbar2----
-When using Locationbar2, displaying information on the Location-bar wont work/show.
--The loading progress does show in the location-bar
---The loading progress is still showing on the Status-bar but right now that is the least of my worries. [this unrelated to locationbar2]
Since I first read about it over at Lifehacker.com there has been a problem with AtD and WYSIWYG editors. With Update 1.1 AtD seem to be working better with WYSIWYG editors but after editing the text body with AtD for some reason it wont let me click "Post" [submit the post]. For some reason, AtD blocks the Post button and never releases the block. Even reloading the page doesn't help.
- For WYSIWYG editors with colored by backgrounds default, when using AtD, the background becomes white. This is a pain when editing because by default text editors with colored background by default set the font color to white by default.
-[minor]The text found in the box becomes centered but once the editing is done it is returned to its original alignment.
- [Minor] Before on the AtD right click menu a DownThemAll option would sneak in as well as one from AdBlock Plus. Well the DTA option is gone but the ABP is still showing up.
Other than these problems, AtD is an exellent addon with a prosperus future.
This used to be an outstanding Firefox addon. Now since the latest gmail update, it has become completely useless.
When it does report the arrival of new emails to my inboxes, it fails to log me in. It only takes me to the main gmail page and inserts my email in the user box line and leaves the password box empty.
When it fails to check for emails, Gmail Manager is able to log me in.
Before, way back when the add-on was first introduced to the Firefox add-on community, Gmail Manager was able to let you know when you had entered the wrong password when signing on to your account by leaving the Gmail Icon gray. [for those like me who don't like to save the password] now if you fail to enter the right password, the Gmail Icons becomes red as if you had been signed-on but have no email. -- I would love to see this Gmail Manager feature come back.
Anyways, for now I just pray for a fix since every other Gmail checker is worst or just as broken as this one.
