My Reviews

Fast Translation

A very nice add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It is very helpful and extremely comfortable to use. Thanks!

To my mind only in one detail the add-on should be improved: As mentioned by other posters too, the font-size in the pop-up window is very small.

Menu Wizard

Excellent! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

A very useful and comfortable in its handling add-on. I use it mainly to modify the context menu for websites, namely for removing several - unnecessery for me - entries in this menu. This works great with your add-on.

Thank you very much! :-)

Find Button

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Just wanted to assure you that your add-on is still very, very useful. Because with Firefox 29.0.1 the Find Button is not available when using not the Standard skin but for example Winestripe Realfox 4 (which I use).

That means that without your add-on I would not have the Find Button.

Thanks a lot. :-)

FindBar Tweak

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Finally I found out why I do not have Firefox's own "Find" button:

The button is available with the (ugly) standard skin of Firefox (Default 29.0.1) but not with the skin I use (Winestripe Realfox 4).

But good news:

I just installed the add-on "Find Button" (https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/find-button/).
And it works fine with "Winestripe Realfox 4" and "Findbar Tweak". :-))

Sorry for the long correspondence and
thanks again for your patience.

Concerning:
"No, I mean firefox's own "Find" button, it's its own magnifying glass icon. It's in the menu panel by default but you can move it anywhere you want."

O.k. Thanks. For some reason i do not have it. I will have to install the other add-on too.

FindBar Tweak

With new Firefox version the Toolbar Button is missing Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I am happy that the excellent FindBar Tweak continues to work with the new Firefox version (I have installed version 29.0.1).

Unfortunately the problem is that the Toolbar Button to open and close the FindBar (= the magnifying glass) obviously is no longer available. :-(

I am aware that the issue is causd by Firefox. But it would be great if the button could be brought back because a click on it was my favourite way to start a search.

Thank you.

Winestripe Realfox 4

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I discovered "Winestripe Realfox 4" a short time ago as "StrataStripe" (which I had used before) is not compatible with Firefox 26.

Both add-ons are very nice. Concerning "Winestripe" I would only like to suggest a small impromevent:

The buttons Back and Next (the green arrows) (and also the button to stop the loading of the site) do not become grey when the function is not available but they retain their original colour (green respectively red) in a pale shade. This makes it difficult to recognize if the function is active or not.

Therefore to my mind it would be useful to replace the pale shade of non-active buttons by a grey color (the way it works in StrataStripe). Thanks a lot.

Quicksaver, thanks a lot for your reply and for your plans to implement the suggested feature. :-)

FindBar Tweak

Thank you! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Quicksaver, I am so happy that I discovered your add-on! Especially I appreciate the possibility to have the findbar no longer at the bottom but on top of the window. :-) And moreover I already found a number of other nice features offered by your add-on (e.g. the possibility to add in the toolbar an icon for opening/closing the findbar etc.)

You made an excellent and very useful work!

If possible, it would be great to have one more feature in your add-on. Something that is missing in the Firefox-findbar already for years, whereas in the IE or in Opera it is something natural:

The option to search (only) for a whole word (so that for example when typing "nation" I won't get words like "international" and various others in the search results).

Many thanks once more and best wishes,
Peter
