Great nifty addon Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Let me just say this....i been looking for exactly this for a while now after trying all sorts of FF apps/add-ons like Color Transform, Colorific, Color That Site, etc and while those are good for specific sites and Color Transform too buggy to use on a global basis (all websites)...I needed something simple that just simply darkened websites on a "global basis" that were white as it is hard on my eyes since i use a 55inch plasma with a home theater PC i built. So at night especially, sites that use #FFFFFF (white) backgrounds or very light color schemes was jarring to my eyes after a while. This app, simple as can be is EXACTLY what i needed. I also thank the dev for the extra options available by access your firefox add-on option page to adjust the colors a tad, enough to satisfy a person's user pref. Good stuff... Also this add-on does not interfere with any websites that already use a darker color scheme...so thats a big plus too!
I was about to say screw it and start developing my own small add-on to fit my personal needs but luckily i tried searching one last time and found this add-on. Kudos to richmoz for this little baby. Edit: Just noticed this is a new firefox add-on(Oct.2015), no wonder i couldn't find it before after searching for over a year now for something to do exactly this lol.
This addon has spyware that tracks your website visits on the internet Rated 1 out of 5 stars
The author of this addon says this below, well if you are honest than why don't the developer of this addon state that they use the users to track the websites you visit. Simply put, If the author/developers of this addon are truly transparent....put it in the description of this addon that you track your users, can you do that?
The author says this below, yet they don't state in the description that they track your internet surfing habit. Ask the developer this, do you make money by tracking the users of this addon>? I would say yes they do!

BEWARE! SPEEDFOX INJECTS MALWARE AND ADs!! Rated 1 out of 5 stars
To everyone that has installed this add-on, you gotta uninstall this because there is hidden adware that will install in the background and it will even keep you from clicking on links to remove the adware! I am what you can call an INTERMIDIATE PC USER and the other day i installed this addon and the next day i noticed a lot of crap coming up suddenly from my anti-adware programs malwarebytes and superantispyware..well soon those programs removed the adware..the more aggressive Speedfox's hidden malware began to spread in my firefox to the point i started getting popup ads from Speedfox and even down and dirty to the point it blocked me from clicking on a link to remove it via adwcleaner...How this SPeedfox got past Mozilla's security team when giving the "Ok" for Speedfox is mind blowing to me to say the least. Make sure you uninstall Speedfox and use superantispyware and adwcleaner afterwards. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2.78).
Caution - While nice, causes major slow down over time. Rated 3 out of 5 stars
I am what you could call "computer savvy" when it comes to computer hardware and software along with a lot of experience in writting various computer code, home brew, etc. This addon while has the right feel "out of the box" ....it will cause major slow down in overall firefox performance when multitasking with FF. To put simply - as i use smoothwheel with only one or two FF tabs open...it works great but soon as you begin to open more and more FF sessions or more than two tabs open at different url's...smooth wheel greatly bogs down the overall firefox performance. This has been my findings after many tests on my main custom built PC that has cutting edge hardware and tested on a secondary PC and a two year old HP laptop. All the same results...it works great as long as you only have no more than two FF sessions open or no more than two tabs open in FF but any more and FF begins to slowly but surely get bogged down by Smoothwheel.
I tested this on my main PC that is a 4770K Intel i7 processor overlcocked to 5.0ghz that has 8 threads along with 16gb system ram and a $600 high end graphics card. And of course as mentioned i tested this on a lower spec desktop PC and a high end HP laptop...same results. It is always best to make sure you test these addon's on muliple PC's to make sure your results are true which i did. One thing i like to add is that i did disable other addon's one by one to eliminate any other addons for being the cause of the slow down. So use with caution and if you are a multi tasker....I would really try other similar addons or just go fine tune your scroll via MS mouse options in control panel.
One of the smallest but great add-on's for FireFox! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Great addon and is a very effective add-on. Simply press your right mouse button and move your mouse movement to scroll. This feature is something that should of been in browsers by default many moons ago. Great add-on that uses a very tiny amount of background resources. Must have add-on... Microsoft,Chrome,Opera and FireFox dev's take notice!!
PS: Does have options to change to a different mouse button and a few other options. Would like to see more options added but hey..its great the way it is because its not a resource hog, those things tend to add up over time the more things you add.
