Not so good Rated 2 out of 5 stars
It doesn't have even an option to add an icon, if desired. All adjustment have to be done through the Menu Bar, which is cumbersome. Not even a context menu option.
One thing is trying to avoid unnecessary things, another is to make an add-on functionality so annoying to use that it's better to skip it altogether.
It works, but needs more work Rated 3 out of 5 stars
It does exactly what it says.
Nice add-on under 10kb, will be great with a bit of polishing.
Imprescindible Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This add-on, in conjunction with "Context search", makes my inet days so much better!
Privacy violations Rated 1 out of 5 stars
This add-on collects data from its users, BEWARE!
Utter rubbish Rated 1 out of 5 stars
The webproxies won't work unless you allow ads, the addon will show adds as well, plus the proxies won't ever work! Neither webproxies nor proxy server.
The addon will also mess up your proxy config, adding websites related to the developers to the list of "No proxy for", automatically and without notice.
Rubbish... Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Nice idea, but crappy design.
The proxies do not work, are blacklisted or otherwise useless. The addon will automatically mess up your proxy configuration, adding websites related to the developers to the "No proxy for" list. Also, the website from where the proxies could be selected doesn't allow secure connections. And what's up with the tab pinned???? Unnecessary and forceful, altogether.
Works fine Rated 4 out of 5 stars
It'd be good to have an option for the icon to take you straight to the proxy settings, in case you want to add proxies manually.
Also, what about having that same option but to take you straight to the website with the proxy list, or even better, having the list by just right clicking the icon or something similar.
Not working. Rated 1 out of 5 stars
The proxy feature is nowhere to be found, so...
It seems abandoned and not working in latest upgrades
False advertisement Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Firstly, it does have ads.
Secondly, it doesn't work.
Finally, the little difference of colour between active and inactive makes it hard to see when it's active/inactive, particularly in dark background.
Rubbish Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Being blunt here: IT DOESN'T WORK, MAKES YOU RESTART FOR NOTHING, ICON CANNOT BE MOVED, NO OPTIONS OR CHANGES IN ICON AFTER CLICKING...
Possibly the developer abandoned this years ago.
Not working... Rated 1 out of 5 stars
No, no icon anywhere. It's not in customization either...
Best lightweight proxy switcher in the market Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I only found a working proxy addon of less size than this (about 19kb), but it's just a simple on/off button, without the functionality of this one.
I love that you can add any number of proxies you want easily, and easily switch between them, too.
Also, about that "cookie" destroyer" issue, don't know what's going on, but all I see is an OPTIONAL feature in preferences that allows you to delete cookies when you switch proxies. I repeat, OPTIONAL. Don't know what's all the fuss about.
Keep up the good work!
Not working anymore... Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Unfortunately, it stopped working, again. Unable to load proxy list.
AMAZING Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Not only combines the functionality of a few different add-ons, but it actually works better than all of them put together!
I love how customizable it is, and all the random choices (I'm a huge randomization fan!).
A couple of things:
Would it be possible to add win10 to the list of profiles, as well as having the choice of adding custom strings?
Also, it'd be great to have a little description of the different options when hovering over them (thanks for the manual, btw).
Please, keep it up, and thanks a mil.
Ah, time and screen size spoofs work fine for me, and no issues with uBlock.
Incompatible with Tab Memory Usage Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Happy with it, worked even with no developer maintenance. Unfortunately, it breaks with the aforementioned addon.
Not working so well... Rated 2 out of 5 stars
Gets stuck on "Loading..." plenty of times without showing any data
I hate how many privacy addons don't care about your privacy Rated 1 out of 5 stars
PLEASE, READ ALL ALL PRIVACY POLICIES, particularly in "featured" and/or security/privacy add-ons.
I wonder how much Mozilla is getting paid for featuring this sham...
Obsolete in latest upgrades Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Unfortunately, I can confirm the "lock browser" behaviour when trying to manage the engines.
Apart from that, the addon general behaviour is erratic, which is a pity, since I found Foobar a great and indispensable addon for many years.
Please, please, someone fixes it =D
Until then, I think it's better to avoid it, sadly.
Can't stand addons which play with your privacy Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Great! Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Why installing so many search addons if this and Add to seach bar can do it all??
What about the option to have subfolders for different type of search engines? My context search menu is getting HUGE, haha
