Not working with Seamonkey 2.40 Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Does not work for me on SM default theme. Seriously if you don't want to support Seamonkey then pull it from the Seamonkey extensions section. I used this for years, migrated away from FF (I'm not the only one) and this was just a tease, as well as a waste of 30 minutes trying versions clear back to 20. Yet Seamonkey is in the rdf.

+1 with Seamonkey Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Wonderful as stated previously, and Seamonkey users love you long time.

No Caption

Does work in Seamonkey 2.40 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

but not exactly like you expect. It's more like a window-mode where you have to drag the corner to fill the screen. Once you do that though, you are all set. No caption bar, and the taskbar still shows (Win7.) Then you can toggle the menu bar with alt, and gain a fair amount of screen space.

If you toggle f11 for full screen, usually the Win taskbar disappears and comes back like it should. Sometimes though, the whole default Windows7 border including the useless caption bar will come back and a restart is needed. Overall, I'll give it 5 stars because it does get rid of the caption bar, and HideCaptionTitlebarPlus doesn't so what else you gonna do?

AMO Browsing for SeaMonkey

If you use Seamonkey... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

you should be using this add-on. Stop guessing which Firefox addons will work for you and see them thru the "eyes" of this extension. It actually gives Seamonkey users additional information on most addon pages about compatibility, as well as the option to go directly to "The Addon Converter" site and "convert" the addon. The Converter makes certain internal Firefox to Seamonkey conversions to an addon which greatly increases the odds that the Firefox addon will work for you. (And saving you a boatload of time trying to do it yourself.) I discovered this extension by accident while browsing the Mozzilazine forums and have been a believer since. If you use Seamonkey--you NEED this addon. Cheers!

Don't down-vote if you can't read or follow basic help docs. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

@ Forensics Doctor I suppose if this was Internet Explorer I could see your point. But it isn't. This is an advanced firewall for blocking things that DO need to be blocked, like scripts, iframes, and more. And it isn't a fraction as hard to use as you make it out to be. Set "first-party" the way you like and every website will be allowed to function as set. But not the 15 or so tracking and ad-serving sites behind it.

And even if you did "download it accidentally," you go to "Addons" and click "remove this addon." That's not so hard now, is it?
Learn at least the Basics of how (any/all) addons are installed/removed (much less used) before you one-star the (probably) single most ground-breaking addon in years.

Excellent Add-on, genius. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Pure genius. Thanks for this and uBlock0, these are really sweet for those of us who still care what's going on under the hood (or behind your back). Working with HTTPS Everywhere just fine. 5 stars for going where no one has gone before.

Note: as the paperwork says--for Advanced Users. You Really Should read the documentation, it will enrich your understanding greatly.

Phoenity Shredder

Excellent overall Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I was testing numerous themes for a Thunderbird fork and when I hit this one something clicked--this theme is clean, simple, with nice attention to detail. If you are looking for a theme that simplifies a busy interface and reduces the mental gymnastics required to process it, try this one.
5 stars.

Context Search

One of the primary addons. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is among the short list of addons that I install every time I set up a new profile, or rebuild an old one. Use it for awhile and you will find it difficult to live without. Excellent in its simplicity.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.6.3.1-signed).

Keyword Search

Isn't this built in? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I must be confused. I have this functionality already. Open search engines drop-down. Go to 'manage search engines.' Assign a letter or keyword to your favorite searches.

To use, simply type "i" (or whatever) search term and I get results from ixquick. Or duck-duck. Or anything else.

So if I'm wrong, and Mozilla has removed this ability from their latest abortion of a browser, I apologize.

Self-Destructing Cookies

Excellent Add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Been using this for years, one of the first add-ons I install. Works as described. Cookies blow up shortly after closing their tab. There are several ways to manage cookies, such as not accepting 3rd party cookies or clearing certain history settings at shutdown, this is another Tool in your box. This is about as simple as it gets-- set green for cookies you want to keep, and remember that even while red you still have that site's cookie until you close the tab, so the site works fine. Close the tab--cookie gone. Nice.
Oh and 5 stars for being so good.

ImageHost Grabber

New Hosting site, download from there Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thank you Ben for your concise and helpful post.

AlanBStard, I appreciated your post as well. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/imagehost-grabber/reviews/731498/

This an amazing addon, ppl who give a 1-star review because it doesn't work on a certain site (like--"worthless"--I'm lookin' at you, cipher_nemo) have no concept of the work required to make something like this work, and no idea how to contribute to make it better. Here's the link to the new site: http://imagehost-grabber.eu/index.php?board=18.0

Anyway, 5-stars, well done Ish.

YouTube Video Center

Does what it says. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Does exactly what it says.
Also check out the author's other YouTube extensions like YouTube High-Def, as well as the others. Quite a few nice ones in the list.
5 stars--thanks!

YouTube High Definition

Excellent--can't live without it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Love it. Every video loads at highest definition.
It also loads at your favorite size, say theater.

Autoplay? If you want. Playlist autoplay? Sure, can do. Suggested autoplay? Of course. Even Embedded vids can be set to autoplay.

Volume? Set it and never get blown away again in your headphones.
There's even a few more features, but all in all, give this about 10 minutes and you will wonder how you ever lived without it. 5 stars.

IdentFavIcon

"I'll take Reading Comprehension for $1000, Alex." Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I know its been awhile, but the below reviews are overlooking the fact that the addon is supposed to be used for sites that DON'T HAVE a favicon to start with. Used correctly, there is nothing to "revert back to." This is not meant to replace favicons with shinys. Reading comprehension, do they still teach that?

Add URL to Window Title (Advanced KeePass Usage)

Better than "KeePass Helper" Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I can't believe only 83 people are using this. The current trend of using URLs to match a KeePass log-in, instead of a window title, is a smart move. This mod makes it easy. As a KeePass use of several years, I can tell you this little mod is perfect for making the title of a window specific, so KeePass can match it. It's more precise than "Keepass helper." It even goes as far as the login box on the page you are on.

I think if the author renamed this, he would have tens of thouands of users. Keepass + KeeFox + this extension allows you to drill down for a precise window match. No More generic window titles like "Log In", that don't even have the hostname. Kudos to the author.

Configuration Mania

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

To ensure you can "reset" your configuration, go to your profile folder and copy the "userpref" file while FF is NOT running. That contains a copy of all the about:config settings.

Hugo Search All Tabs

Powerful Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This...is a powerful addon. If you use "find as you type" on webpages, I urge you to try this. Imagine the same thing but across multiple tabs, sorted, highlighted, and much more.
This really is powerful, useful, an easy to use implementation of a great idea. 5 stars to the author.

Add to Search Bar

Excellent...and you CAN change the url... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

To Alois Wrdlbrmbfd below, I use "organize search engines" add-on, and you can easily open the properties and change anything you want, even icons. Enjoy
p.s. This addon rocks, I use it all the time.

Searchbar Autosizer

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Ive used it since 2006, but FF isn't what it used to be, the great ones are falling everywhere.
