My Reviews

I don't care about cookies

Fantastic Addon Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is a really small addon that you install and forget and then when you use a different browser you notice all these little popups that different websites throw at you about their cookie policy. I really love this addon and am very happy that it has been updated with webextension support!

Definitely donate a few dollars to the developer if you can, he has put in a lot of work so we can live more easily.

Tap To Tab

Works! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I installed this on my android phone and tablet and it works perfectly. Double tap a link and a new tab is created.

The only downside is that it doesn't switch to that tab automatically, you need to open tabs, and then click on the new tab. It's a small issue that doesn't bother me very much.

New Tab Tweaker

Perfect! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This does the job it's supposed to perfectly. I hate the white about: and home pages that firefox provides as default, they're incredibly blinding when you have all your websites dark themed.

This themes the new tab page the color you want and has a couple extra options as well.

Self-Destructing Cookies

Works perfectly on every device Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is one of the first addons I install on any new device and it has served me perfectly for the last year or so that i've used it.
It deletes the cookies that I assign it to, and does it in a timely manner. Whitelist is easy to add to and settings are easy to understand.

The only issue I have with it is that the default setting has notifications turned on whenever a cookie gets deleted. I do not understand this choice as I think most people don't care which individual cookie gets deleted at what time. It's an easy option to turn off in the settings, but the installation procedure could be more simplified if notifications were turned off by default.

QuickMark

Makes Creating bookmarks a breeze Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This does a really good job of replacing the stock bookmark options of firefox. Navigating to bookmark folders is a breeze, especially with the keyboard shortcuts.

I've had some issues with Dark GTK themes on Linux (Arc Dark) but I blame that on the theme not being written properly and not on this addon itself. The words for the folders would be almost the same color as the background of the bookmark list, but when I changed the theme the problem was fixed.

Open With

Love Love Love this addon. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

There is absolutely nothing out there like this. This might not be something very many people have a use for, but I use this everyday and it works perfectly. I switch between firefox to chrome to firefox dev constantly, and this addon makes opening the page i'm currently on in a different browser an absolute breeze. Keyboard shortcuts work perfectly and the fact that Geoff gives everyone the option to create specific commands and command line arguments is just brilliant and well thought out.

NoSquint Plus

Works Great Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I mainly use this for zooming in on webpages and keeping that zoom level when I go to different pages, (why has firefox not made this a feature yet?)
and it works perfectly that need. I have it installed on my desktop and laptops and I use it all the time.

Highly recommend if you're annoyed by the fact firefox doesn't let you keep your zoom levels when you leave a website and then come back to it later.

Night Mode Pro

Best addon for eye strain Rated 5 out of 5 stars

While this addon doesn't work on every site. (Blame the individual sites for this, they were coded badly)
It works really well on the websites that it does support, button is easy to use and settings are easy to understand.

One of the other commenters mentioned a blacklist option, I think option #6 does a great job of taking care of that right now.
Overall great addon, and makes bright websites much more bearable, especially at night.

Mind the Time

Great addon for tracking the amount of time you spend online Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I really enjoy this addon. I have it set up to give me a little popup every 20 minutes to tell me how long i've spent online today and It's a fantastic reminder to get up and stretch and at the same time to maybe go find something more productive to do.

The setting options are simple easy to understand. The statistics page is also really nicely laid out and very easy to understand. Would definitely recommend this addon if you're interested in tracking the amount of time you spend on websites or on the internet in general.

Install and Forget Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is a fantastic and very minimalistic addon. I installed it and then totally forgot about it. I also forgot about those annoying little popups that pages used to show me about them using cookies. It works just like it is supposed to and Kiko has done a fantastic job adding support to all the websites I use.

Greasemonkey

Greasemonkey is the best! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is probably one of my favorite extensions out there, I've been using it for a couple of years now and it has always worked flawlessly and without any issues.

Scripts are easy to add, easy to update and they work like they're supposed to.
Great job and thank you developers.

Send Tab to Device

Works just like the description says Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Addon itself works perfectly. You can right click on links and then send them to whatever device you want. They then show up on that device in a few moments just as if you had sent a tab from firefox mobile to your computer.

Only downside I see is that you can't right click on tabs to send them to your device, but that's a minor thing really.
