My Reviews

1-ClickWeather

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This add-on (version 1.1.9.1) DOES NOT WORK WITH FF4. I tested it with an empty profile with no other add-ons. It throws numerous JavaScript errors.

Menu Editor

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Have used this add-on through FF3.6.x and it is great; however, with the latest version of menu editor enabled, there is no context menu when right clicking on a tab in FF4b8. If you disabled menu editor, all is OK.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2.6).

Master Password Timeout

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This works just fine with FF4b8 and should be bumped to reflect that.

Cookie Monster

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Somehow my narrative got wiped out.

I've used CookieCuller for quite a while and was quite happy; however, it appears the developer is dropping support.

CM, while somewhat more complicated, does the job quite well. The only issue is white-listing the sites you want to allow cookies from. Hopefully the developer will keep it going.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.5.1-signed).  This user has a previous review of this add-on.

Cookie Monster

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I've used CookieCuller for a long time and been very happy with it; however, it appears like the developer is dropping support.

This add-on is somewhat more complicated requiring one to white-list all sites to accept cookies. However, once having done that it seems to work quite well. Hopefully it will continue to be supported.

RefControl

Great add-on and have grown to depend on it. Unfortunately I have switched to FF4beta7 and it doesn't work.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.8.13).

Orkut Manager Plus

Plagiarized Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This author has a reputation for plagiarizing software in many venues. Here is just one example from userscripts.org

In looking at this code he seem to be keeping to his habit for plagiarism.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.1.5).
