Needed a plugin that does exactly what this one does. I was checking my log files, they are pure text, nearly 10k lines each, on one of them, i click the Find All button, said there was 240 matches, but before it can show me which ones or highlight the matches, kept getting errors to continue or stop the script, firefox stopped responding, and had to restart it.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.3).
While the one-click-download is very awesome, the download button does not show up for all videos on the side, and didn't show up for the videos i opened to watch.
Extremely buggy and slow.
1. Shows links for UserScripts that DON'T exist.
2. Doesn't show links for some UserScripts that DO exist.
3. Sometimes the script overview window doesn't show anything.
This plugin is a hassle to use, it is much easier to just search userscripts manually.
Takes you to their website off of youtube, but gives you options to set the Filename, Quality (Max is 256), and the ID3 tags (Useful if you like organized music).
Would 5-star it if support for 320kbps existed, and possibly do the process without leaving youtube (eg popup window to edit information/id3?)
Highest quality is 224kbps, which is an odd number. I am used to having it either 128 or 256.
The layout under the video is bad, it pushes all of the other content down so it can have space for it's large icons and giant blue help button.
However, this addon makes it so you can download directly from the youtube site without having to go to a 3rd party, which is great, so upgrading from 2 stars to 3 stars. (4 if the layout is fixed, 5 if the quality is fixed to support 320kbps)
From the YouTube download button, the button takes you to their own website to do the process, its pretty straightforward, but by default the quality is 128kbps. If you put the YouTube URL manually/directly on their website, you can download with 256kbps. I don't see any way to change the button quality even though I tried to select the highest quality, makes me wonder how low the normal quality is if the high quality is 128.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0).
