JSOff

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works great!

As for that noob that said "Does not work unless you reload the page".. Well, that's like saying, seat belts only help if you have them on before a crash. Ha!

I guess it could have an option where it would reload the page when java is turned off (for those mindless noobs).

This is the best tool for this job. Don't always expect it to work as it should, as it's basically a hack that some sites don't like and try to stop.

CoLT

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I have been using this for many years without ANY flaws.

THANK YOU!!

I see that people that give this less than 5 stars are asking for extra features; SO LAME. If you want more features you should donate and ask the developer directly.

Copy Plain Text 2

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

You all should know that many web pages have hidden code in the text, so you can't simply copy it as need be.

But this add-on solves that problem. Simple to use and works great every time. It's faster too, as copying some text will lag and hang when doing it the old way. Bravo.

I also use CoLT for links, but this does the rest.

This should be the default way to copy text in FF.

Abduction! - Webpage Screenshots Screen Capture

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Brilliant. I can capture any part of a web page with ease. There's no buts with this one.

Strict Pop-up Blocker

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Blocks pages that try to pop up in new windows/tabs. I don't bother with lists, I just click the button as need be. Easy as pie.

List is not encrypted. Not cool. This add-on should be banned.

IMDB Search

Works great! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Select text, and right click, and click search IMDb, easy as pie.

Here's an idea:
The search function at IMDb is not as good as Google. So how about making an add-on that adds the user's selection to a Google search: site:imdb.com "movie title gets put here"
If someone could do that, then that would open the door for other Google searches as well, such as:
intitle:index.of "movie title gets put here" mkv OR mp4
Hmm..

Google search link fix

Video DownloadHelper

Works GREAT!!.. But it's best to get the latest version from their site. I have been using this for many years now with no issues.

Firefox 2, the theme, reloaded

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The best, but could be better..

The add-on bar buttons used for 'Prostetnic highlighter' are WAY too big yet it looks fine in the default FF theme, hmm. As such I had to remove those 'un-needed' buttons (no big deal).. I blame 'Prostetnic highlighter' for this still and let them know.

Also, a small issue is the go button in the search bar moves to the right sometimes and overlays the next button. When it does this I just click anywhere in the page area and the go button goes back to its proper position, so again, no big deal.

This is still the best FF theme IMHO. Glad to see that the developer (rctgamer3) is working on this theme as need be.

To rctgamer3: I'll see you on the varesano.net project page as need be. Thanks!

Prostetnic highlighter

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works great with FF 33 default theme, but the toolbar buttons appeared WAY too big with my theme: 'Firefox 2, the theme, reloaded 1.0.8' .. They fill up the whole page and make FF unusable, WTF?.. As such, I needed to remove the buttons from the toolbar. I had to switch to default theme to access and remove those toolbar buttons.. I don't need the toolbar buttons so all is good with this workaround.

I still give this add-on 5 stars as I assume my issue has more to do with how 'Firefox 2, the theme, reloaded 1.0.8' handles these toolbar images, and there is not a simple fix for that with this type of theme (as I understand from that developer). Yet, I suspect that 'Prostetnic highlighter' could fix this issue by just using smaller toolbar images, you know, like 'icons'. But alas, I don't know how this stuff works and hope you geeks can sort it all out.
