Great! and some suggestions... Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Hi Sarah, you're doing a great job with this AddOn - thanks. My suggestions:
1. Include an option to not ask for the Master Password again during a session. Sometimes i've just got my browser open for a few minutes to check something and i get asked 3-4 times in short order (2 almost immediately).
2. Advertise the right-click options somehow. I didn't even notice it! Perhaps the icon could change when it does or doesn't have a password handy for a particular site.
3. Trivia, but the icon is incredibly dull. Something more attractive would be nice, and as i said in no.2 perhaps it could show unlocked or locked or whatever else you think would look descriptive depending on whether it has info about a site.
4. What are "badges"? I did a search in the FAQ and there was no mention of it.
Cheers and thanks for the numerous updates and fixes you're doing. It is appreciated.
Without this and TabMixPlus, i may well ditch Fx :( Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This and TMP have been my staple add-ons since i left Opera for Fx when Opera decided to ditch you know... features. I sincerely hope something like this can be done in Fx 57 because Fx native Bookmark management is unusable IMO (maybe it'll be better in future versions?). I actually donated a trivial amount to this one.
Enjoy the extra time you get. Curious - will YOU keep using Fx?
Thank you for this and your other terrific add-ons.
Refuses master password. Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Fx 51.0.1 64bit.
Simply refuses to accept my master password, so it doesn't work. :(
EDIT: Thanks for your reply. Sorry, i should have provided more information. It DID work, until i restarted Firefox. I believe my master password had already been entered when it was working. When i open Fx, i am prompted for the master password. It refuses to accept that password. It also opens some 25 password dialogue boxes. There is no typo, as i have copy/pasted it and manually typed it to no avail. Disabling the addon returns me to normal functionality and my password is accepted.
Should I note i am using Linux?
SO good! Thank you! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
"Usage: The big power button in the popup is to permanently disable/enable uBlock FOR THE CURRENT WEBSITE. It applies to the current web site only, it is not a global power button."
^^ THAT is what i've been looking for! I generally allow ads, because most of the sites i visit have relevant ads that supply revenue to the site owner. Sites like Linux community sites and the like. Adblock Plus simply didn't allow me to effectively blacklist, instead relying on a whitelist which i would never remember to add to (i would whitelist 80% of the internet - far too much effort!).
Thank you SO MUCH for this feature - this is FAIR adblocking - the internet applauds you!
Where is the donate button?
My suggestion: allow the user to toggle by clicking the icon rather than clicking twice (once to open/once to toggle). Have an alternative icon which includes the little drop-down arrow.
Essential Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This is the first thing i install on any copy of Firefox i use. So many features it's almost overwhelming, but take the time to adjust to your liking, export the settings and import it everywhere. If i were told i could only have one add-on, this would almost certainly be it.
The only thing it seems to be missing is a tab preview, but there's other singular extensions that do that (like Tab Scope) so no great loss.
If you're an Opera convert - you NEED this extension.
I can only say thank you and donate (done).

Great features, reminds me of Opera with more choice, but also a bit more complexity. I had a bit of trouble getting DuckDuckGo "bangs" to work. To use DDG bangs for, eg Google Images, try: "https://duckduckgo.com/?q=%q !gi". I would have preferred to opt-in rather than opt-out of a couple of features like 'Instant' and 'Suggest'.
EDIT: I'd like to know where the suggestions come from, i suspect Google or some other is feeding. In which case it might seem that the tool is feeding info back into Google (or similar) even if i'm using DuckDuckGo as my search engine. I've amended my rating to "two" pending clarification on this.
EDIT2 (after developer reply): I've upped the rating to four, thanks for your response. I still find it a bit confusing to set up, but i guess it has to be for what it does. How does the suggest feature work if Google (or whoever) isn't looking at your search history (the 'filter bubble' problem) to offer relevant suggestions? Thanks.
Pretty :) Easily 5. Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I signed up to review. I used to use AllInOne Sidebar but i found it confusing and clunky. This is very, very attractive and highly usable. I think my only suggestion (unless i've just missed it), is icons instead of a drop-down selector. drop-down to select bookmarks or downloads is two clicks and obviously much slower than a single click. If that top bar could show icons instead of drop-down (user choice) then i'd give this 5 stars. Very nice extension and good to see the developer respond to requests/suggestions.
EDIT: Amazing, thank you Quicksaver. Perfect: 5 stars :)ps, can i have the download link in the 'usual' place AND in OmniSidebar? (sorry to be a noob) :)
EDIT2: Thanks mate. I'm an Opera convert, but i like the way Firefox has the 'active' button that gives info, if it's in the sidebar i can't see it, so i'd like to keep it where it is. But sometimes when i'm downloading several files (maybe at once), i like them visible in the sidebar so i can manage them as they finish.Great extension, great support. Cheers. Where's that donate button? :) -- done.
