My Reviews

Bookmarks Organizer

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

seems OK but it didn't find my "unsorted bookmarks" which number in the thousands. I'm going to remove it and try it again in acouple of months.

Incognito This Tab

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Does what it says. However that doesn't make it very useful. (I'm another "Private Tab" refugee).
Instead of using this addon you can just press Ctrl+Shift+P to get your new private window and basta.
Cheers!

Firefox Multi-Account Containers

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

great concept! looks like mozilla is clearly trying to respond to the fallout from version 57

Video DownloadHelper

fantastic, the developer went above and beyond Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'd like to thank the developer for not only updating the addon to WebExtension but also releasing a companion app to restore the extra functionality!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (7.0.0).

Self-Destructing Cookies

Sad to see it go Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This was a fantastic extension while it lasted. No longer maintained so I have installed cookie autodelete and wish for the best.

Private Tab

Love it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very practical addon. You can open literally any link in a private session. Bookmarks, links on a page, etc
I recommend you also install the "Containers" addon currently in the Firefox Test Pilot program, it has interesting features but is not as good as Private Tab (it can't open bookmarks)

Five stars and cheers to the dev!

Edit: unfortunately doesn't work with Firefox 57+

Rename Tab Title

Brilliant idea Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Simple and to the point. A great addon. Would it be possible to add filters (for instance, to automatically remove the words "Microsoft Word" that is often inserted in PDF tab titles)?

Also, could you create an option to Rename Tabs in the context menu when you right-click on a tab?

PS the tab names are persistent after reloads now. thumbs up!

Many thanks!

Wayback Machine

Brilliant idea Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I am often digging around obscure websites and regularly run into 404's and even websites with expired domains. This addon helps automate an essential part of my research workflow.
