Note Board

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I've taking some time recently to look for decent notepad apps for Mozilla, since I also use Chrome, which has several different types.

This one seems to have all the things I require in an app!

I can bold, underline, make things italic. {Can't get that with QuickNote.}
Customize colors for different notes to tell them apart (Which I get with QuickNote)

I'm able to group them together in a small pile or in a line. {Which is really nice with multiple notes.}

Fonts are able to be changed and resized, and I'm able to have more than one board of notes up. {Meaning, the tab list lets me see how many boards are available to my use and I can switch between say, two and five.}

The notes are saved automatically, and when I click on the toolbar button, they may take a few moments to load, but the information I need is on them! I can add more boards, should I need them and rename them, as well.

The background allow for prepared ones by the creator and your own custom one. Each board on the tab list also lets you give them a different BG, so I can have a one look like a note book page and two Valentine's day stationary. {Personally, I love the note book page BG. The notes look like sticky notes now! I do plan to test the custom background a little later, though.}

I tried the dragging feature, and it doesn't seem to want to move the note I created from board one to board five on the tab list. {You have to access your board menu and drag the note to the menu in order to move it.} Being able to drag notes from tab to tab would be wonderful!

I honestly would prefer a way to hide the drag box on the right on the actual note board area, and a way to hide the settings above the note board tab list for a little more space, but that's just me. Also a method of hiding the settings in an actual note, as well, since there are so many of them, and it looks a bit cluttered. A method of deleting boards you don't need would be great as well, as I only need two to three open on the tab list.

The log in may be annoying, yes, but it helps retrieve your old notes without you having to C&P them into an actual notepad document on your computer, which can grow in size and take up needed space.

Over all, I think this is a good app that can be used in multiple ways, for people who require that in-browser notepad.
