AutoPager Fixed

AutoPager Fixed Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I am glad someone decided to pick up Wind Li's slack period. Do not know if it got abandoned or just had other pressing work for the past 8 or 9months. I liked this auto pager and used it from its inception. It is useful in many instances and was very easy to modify for all the different sites characteristics.
thanks, i guess to wOxxOm for the work needed to make it operational again.
I wish I knew how to do this type of thing since i have plenty of time but no expertise at all. I can put computers together but not do much with the software apps other than follow Linux how to sites with cut/paste changes.

Blur

reply on Blur troubles: Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I loved DNT plus and the mask email address mask me , i guess was its name. I used it sometimes but always used the dnt. Now , i have neither and depend on other applications to take over or fill in.
I found that with blur i was being offered more things i had no use for. I have simple needs, do not want any phone, masked or much of anything else. I did like password management. but it was actually a redundancy of what i do already. I have very little to watch over. I do not know how i might respond to the Blur change over if i had a load of things to protect and manage passwords among. Might have been more receptive. I just bristled at being maneuvered into paying for a Pro upgrade in order to only utilize the one or 2 small pieces that had been free. To me, more was not better since it is useless in the respect I would never use it. I just wanted the option to be able to mask some of my email addresses and that was it. Most of the places I visit need a reply to address so I can communicate back and forth. I do not need any anonymity in those cases. However , there are sites that just want an address, phone number , etc so they can sell it. those i liked to mask. Blur would not mask anything, nor put in my own address, It became more inconvenient as i had to hide panel every time just to put in my proper email and blur ceased even being able to do that. I had to get rid of it since for some reason I lost the most basic mask me features and blur would not let me sign up.even after i took out mask me and had removed dnt prior.
too bad. I really liked the minimal features i had with mask me even though it wasnt perfect.
I am sorry ,too.

Blur

Blur no more Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I just removed Blur , it was intrusive and did nothing but nag and then tell me i had to remove Mask me. which i did. but still would not let me sign in nor make any new account.
It began to expect a fee for what mask me did for free. i do not want or need all the services, but i was harassed every time i needed to enter an email address so that it became just easier to get rid of Blur and use Ghostery on its own. I got cross over coverage using both if i only used one at a time i got nearly the same numbers in their own scoring systems. I want Mask Me back and Do Not Track plus as it was originally. but no Blur for me...besides , they wont allow me to do anything but pay for a premium or Pro at this point anyway and continue to pop up a useless interface telling me i couldnt access it.

Forecastfox in FF34.0x Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I love this app, used it from the get go. but fire fox keeps making this app incompatible , not the first time. I wish this would stop happening. so many apps and themes have fallen by the wayside, one theme had 300,000 users, more actually, no longer. and , as someone else noted. Mozilla wants me to give more money, again. no more. I want this app,in particular, back and fast.
Edit: hour later....I just did a search for installing this forecast fox for versions after 29 i guess. I did have to make certificate exceptions which i had done in past but forgot. I am using Windows10 tech preview and just now installing FF 34.05 or whatever is most current non beta as of 1-2-15. it works fine and added to restore add on bar on the bottom. I did also add compatibility check as suggested below. no idea if it was necessary or not.
keeping the 5star forecaster fox but not for FF34. not since 28, i think , when all the good (to me) themes and some apps fell by the wayside as noted by disgust of creators with process. hundreds of thousands of followers yet no longer compatible. It is all far too advanced for me to grasp. I am just a typical end user who gets left with less control over look of interface not that the standard new ones are bad, just not what i like.

FF 31 with no ForecasterFox is not good Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I have used and loved ForecasterFox for years through all major OS starting with MAC and now to Linux Mint/Ubuntu.
I automatically look for it in its place on top all my computers. I have had to stop auto update with FF (at 28) just to keep from losing this. Unfortunately, my Linux laptops just updated themselves as I am brand new into the X areas.
I find ForecasterFox so important to my browser ergonomics that i have taken out FF31 and gone backwards, just to keep Forecaster Fox.
Mozilla and firefox take note, please, and make it easier for these old and popular add ons to keep pace. seems to be too many qualifiers for many of the add ons to be compatible. Some are one man efforts and others may be done by groups and/or corps, No matter, just get this add on back and keep it, please. I miss it. Even if it may show a bright sun disk and out the window it is snowing or a deluge of water, I still depend on this add on, esthetics as well as function. I am not alone , either.

ANOTHER REASON TO HATE FIREFOX Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Not available in v30....just one more good app down
i have not used this fox fire anymote. or stay on the past versions. they are losing apps and more as they fo on toward a big business approach. i moved to this browser years ago due to its total support of open, new and interesting things. now, they are losing people, making demands that are not possible to keep for a single person to keep up with; there by eliminating those young and new ideas from growing and being introduced. i dont like the new look or the new direction
i do love forecaster fox and do not know where it got to. i waited a long time to move up from v28 to 30 and lost the favorite thing there was,

Noia 4 -discontinued-

NOIA 4, THEME MANAGER AND ALL Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It is a shame that FF made it so difficult for so many hard working and talented contributors to provide their extremely creative and highly functional products-for free, gratis- and essentially get snubbed or whatever as mozilla goes in some new direction and forgets who and how FF came to be successful. security updates are fine but all the dumbing down, minimizing and cutting out is not why i opted to try FF many yrs ago, v2 or however it was labeled back then.
This theme is superb in so many ways not space to enumerate. To me , it followed the original mozilla /firefox direction and allowed the end user ability within the browser to make choices to suit eye appeal or whatever reasons.
I found this after searching and searching as i saw other 'updates, back to 13 or so, and other people dropped off and left their work as ff changed so rapidly it was imposable to keep up and hold down a paying job. I had to keep 5-8 different themes to have variety, till i found Noia4 and i only needed one plus the default. Now, i look to replace it as i read of the demise and from all those hundreds of themes, i see only a handful i can actually use. I am staying at 28. and possibly switching as the browser becomes too old in this version to function and keep Noia4. I actually had to use IE11, 3 x in the past week already. I had not even opened that browser since version 8 or maybe once 9. a sad state. i do not like chrome, too small to see from any distance. same with the ff defaults.
another soon to be lost, erstwhile loyal, satisfied user, till this last straw. will wait to see about going back.
Thanks for the efforts, i was one happy user

PirateBay Search

PirateBay-Searcy Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I am not able to use this. It will not preform properly. I select text, right click with PIrateBay option, however, the new tab is opening a remote server for distant tv. I am not (yet) able to have this search function as it is supposed to. I do not have the remote server active , it doesnt do anything, but keeps on going to that in the new tab
No matter what text or type of text i select, and i have no related plug in or extension which would lead to that site.

RedShift V4

RedShift4 and FF14 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I followed the instructions above for editing and installing the jar. I never did anything like that before but it worked no problem. it functions ok. no issues as yet. time will tell. hopefully there will be ongoing development of this theme.
..edit 7/30..I watched Netflix on 2 monitors, 2 Firefox windows, RedShift4, one on the 2nd monitor with the streaming movie...the Firefox app froze. the movie continued to play/stream, but all functionality in Firefox was non responsive. I had to enter TaskManager to force quit. I changed theme and all was fine. I had watched on a single monitor , single window of Firefox and netflix streaming without incident in RedShift4. I had Nightly Tester in add ons, as well though i had not used it in this computer. I followed the directions for editing the jar workaround since just having NightlyTester did not work on one computer(did on the other one without any workaround edit).all other functions seem to be working fine. Just the 2 windows Netflix streaming video lock up. Hope this is helpful.
