@Droiyan Thank you! Works like a charm now. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (18.104.22.168-signed). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
Thanks, gaz! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.6.3).
Thanks a lot Merci. Merci!
It works with FF 4.0This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.40.1-signed).
Simple and great. Thanks a lot. FF 4.0.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.3.1-signed).
Works OK on 3.6.13. Thank you!
It does not work on php bulletin Board (phpBB).This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.1-signed).
I've been using this add-on for quite a while, but since a couple of versions ago it started opening a spam (and blank) page (http://wmn.isgreat.org/updated.php?) everytime it updates to a newer version. The code is within the WebMailNotifier.js file. It is easy to replace the URL with another one. I did not try to leave it blank, but I think it would work. Just make sure you do it before installing webmail Notifier.I hate unsolicited "features".This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.6.4).
Several times now I get the message "You are a trad." from Omploader whenever I try to upload a picture. What is going on? FF 3.6.10 + W7.
Working fine on FF 3.6.3, W7, 32.
@marcus_juninhu Obrigado. Funfando ok 3.6.3. Valeu!
It works with 3.62. Just save "abduction!-3.0.4-fx.xpi" to your HD, open it with Winrar (.xpi is just a zipped file), use Wordpad to open and edit the file "install.rdf", find the line"3.6b1pre, modify it so it now reads "3.62". Close Wordpad (saving the file), close Winrar (saving the file), and that's it. Abduction will be installed OK in Firefox 3.62. It is THE BEST svreen grabber around. Period. Other grabbers do not let you scrool down the page while grabbing it, as Abduction does. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0.4).
Correction: Click the "Add to Firefox" on this page. A new page with a disclaimer will be displayed. Look for the "Accept and install" link, below the text. Right click it and Save link as.... Save it to your Desktop, so you will find it easily. The file name is "addon-5117-latest.xpi". From then, just follow my instructions. Good luck. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2.3).
Correction: Before right clicking it, you have to click on the "add to Firefox" link, a new page will open, look for the "Accept and install" button. Right click it and choose "Save link as...". The file is named "addon-5117-latest.xpi". I do not know why they renamed it today. Maybe a new version. Just go ahead and rename it with a .zip extension, and follow my instructions above. Good luck. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2.3).
worldwide.geek: It depends on where you've downloaded it to. Instead of installing it directly from the net, do the following:
Click on the "Ignore version check", right below the "This add-on is for older versions of Firefox" above (in case you are seeing this page using FF v3.6 or higher). A new option will open (the "add to firefox" green button). Right click on it and "save link as...". Save it to your desktop. From then on, it is easy. Just follow the steps above. Good luck.
It will work with 3.6 if you do the following:
Rename "lexmark_toolbar-0.2.3-fx.xpi" to "lexmark_toolbar-0.2.3-fx.xpi.zip". Open and edit "install.rdf" with notepad: Change "maxVersion="3.5"" to "maxVersion="3.6".
Save and quit "install.rdf". Rename "lexmark_toolbar-0.2.3-fx.xpi.zip" back to "lexmark_toolbar-0.2.3-fx.xpi". That's it. The only problem I notice is the Lexmark Preferences window is smaller than it should and hides the end of the text. But it's not a big problem. Good luck.
Thank you, Dave S. I am now using it on 3.6.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0.4).
THANK YOU! Really appreciated it. I was going back to 3.5 due to this bug (they call it a new feature...). Shame on Mozilla! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (6.1-signed).
