Permanent List-all-tabs Button

It's great to get it back! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

With a 1920 pixels horizontal resolution, it becomes difficult to find the tab we're looking for. And since the button now only shows up with half more tabs opened (15 for this resolution), this add-on is really useful! Thanks!

New tab toolbar button

Not like the original one Rated 2 out of 5 stars

It could use the icon still included in Firefox. Furthermore, when used with New Tab Homepage View, the Google search textbox doesn't get focus.

There's still a new tab button functionality in Firefox, until you remove it from your toolbar. That is it's not visible in the Customize Toolbar dialog, but it's still there.
To add it manually, open "Help>Troubleshooting Information", then click "Open Containing Folder" and open the localstore.rdf file in your profile.
Then look for the second occurence of "chrome://browser/content/browser.xul#nav-bar" and paste "new-tab-button," (with the ",") after 'currentset="' (after the ").

Smart Dictionary Switcher

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It's working great!
Tested with English and multi French dictionaries (from dicollecte).
Dictionary switcher wasn't working anymore for me. Smart Dictionary Switcher works perfectly.

IE View

Injects ads in webpages that use jquery Rated 1 out of 5 stars

As the others reviews indicate it, since its version 1.5.3 or earlier, this addon injects ads in webpages that use jquery. This is done without the user consent, which shouldn't be tolerated by Mozilla. This addon seems to infrige at least two addons policies:- Do the add-on and add-on author both treat the user respectfully? ( Add-ons that make changes to web content in ways that are non-obvious or difficult to trace by their users ( Lite isn't translated, hence its smaller size. However, a new version duplicating the version 1.5.1 could be added to revert the users to the ads free version. In the mean time, the users can install that version 1.5.1 manually, the updates have already been disabled.

Search Terms in Awesomebar

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Great extension! It increases the usefulness of the awesomebar. It's nice to be able to find back a page we didn't bookmark and whose title doesn't contain what we were looking for.

However, there's a bug: it constantly throws a "error: internal error: tab not found" message in the JS console. One less star for that.

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Fonctionne parfaitement, rien à dire.
Merci !

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great piece of software!
Indeed, the upload bar was working until Firefox 0.9, and there's a bug about it ( this extension is far better!
Thank you!

New Tab Homepage

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I can't believe this isn't the default behavior.

SQLite Optimizer

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

REINDEX is useless. SQlite automatically reindexes entries, so unless you change the structure, you shouldn't execute that command.
VACUUM is done automatically by Firefox from version 3.6. But if you really want to do it more often, you can use an extension offering only the VACUUM command.

CuteMenus Classic

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Great add-on.There's only one thing that could be better: the dictionary sub-menu should have that earth icon.But it can fixed by adding those lines to the cutemenus.css file:#spell-dictionaries-menu menuitem[type="checkbox"] .menu-iconic-icon { list-style-image: url("check_buttons.png") !important; -moz-image-region: rect(0px 32px 16px 16px) !important;}#spell-dictionaries-menu menuitem[type="checkbox"][checked="true"] .menu-iconic-icon { list-style-image: url("check_buttons.png") !important; -moz-image-region: rect(0px 16px 16px 0px) !important;}

View Dependencies

Still unmatched Rated 5 out of 5 stars

A must have for web developers.
Some extensions try to imitate it, but they don't reach its level of functionality and integration.
I just miss Java files detection.

Title in Address

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

There's no way to contact you (your name isn't even displayed - probably a bug), so I wanted to let you know that you can overlay the function URLBarSetURI in browser.js to make it as smooth as you'd like. You can contact me if you need help.

Title in Address

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It works like a charm. I wasn't expecting it, but once the address bar gets the focus, the title is replaced by the URL.
As the author says, there's a very small delay before the URL is replaced by the title.

YouTube HQ

Works but breaks the back button Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Nice idea, because it's always annoying this HQ thing not enabled by default.
There's only one problem : it breaks the back button. This is because it loads the same page but adds a parameter in the URL.
Apart from that, the extension code seems pretty safe.

Must have Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I was never using the mouse wheel before I found SmoothWheel. Now I can't browse without it. :-)
Perhaps users with high latency LCD screens won't enjoy it, but for all the others it's a must have.
I miss it when I use other softwares.

Better integration would be great Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It works very well, but keep in mind that it's based on a site, so it would not work if too much users were using it.
It would be better if it overlaid Cooliris to make its button launch PicLensPLus instead of adding a button in the status bar.

IE View Lite

Lite = no translations ? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Sure, IE View Lite is a cut down version, but does it mean that it can't have translations ?

Of course, IE View Lite would be more than 5 time bigger if it had translations like IE View does. Then it would be 34KB versus 47KB, which is probably not enough to convince the user.

And by the way, all the UI and features are NOT there : there's no Force open in IE. But I don't use this feature, so I would use IE View Lite if you didn't just focus on the file size and added translations with BabelZilla.
