This hasn't worked at all since FF 8, and just wastes space with FF 9. No responses. Formerly a nice and convenient add on, but now completely worthless. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.0.20111125).
There are some extensions that are closer to a trojan horse than a productive utility. Firefox Sync is one such extension. When is does sync, which is usually less than half the time, it does not sync properly. Worse, it is a huge resource hog, and EXTREMELY slow. You cannot function at all when a sync is in process, and it typically takes over an hour to tow hours to sync even over fiber. It does not even deserve one star, but at least one is required to submit a review. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.7).
For years this was one of the more useful extensions. Since changing from Foxmarks to Xmarks, though, it is now the worst of any extension. It actually manages to turn Firefox into a Microsoft-like pig. We use Firefox to browse the web, not to continuously backup bookmarks as it ignores all settings. We just removed it from 213 computers as we'd prefer to actually get some work done rather than wait on this piece of crapThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.4.10).
