My Reviews

Video DownloadHelper

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

A must have tool in my arsenal of Firefox add-ons. I've been using DownloadHelper for years. It's small, efficient, and extremely useful. Allows virtually all media to be downloadable; very useful in areas where low bandwidth makes streaming virtually impossible.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.9.22).

PasswordMaker

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Awesome product but it conflicts with Download Statusbar. When DS is active, PasswordMaker's options dialogue doesn't work.

CodeBurner for Firebug

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Nice tool except that it automatically shows up for every page even though autorun is not checked. :-(
Am I missing a setting or something?

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5).

Interclue

Picture in Picture Rated 5 out of 5 stars

There are a few vital add-ons that I could not live without. Interclue is one of them.

It really is like a picture in picture. Get a quick preview of the main content of a like as well as some stats and related information that'll help you decide whether to actually go to the link or not.

And it beats those site-specific previews because a) it only pops up if ::you:: want it and b) the customisability and extra information that Interclue provides helps one get a better idea of the linked page (which sometimes the content alone might not provide).

An added bonus is the iconic indication of what a link is, ie. a website, pdf document, script, mail address, etc.
I like knowing what I am going to click on, especially given the number of dodgy sites one may hap upon casually surfing.

Definitely a five-star add-on in my book. Give it a try and you may soon wonder what you ever did without it.
