Love this.. much faster than many of the others.. some remote and this one local.. Absolutely great..This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5.8).
Love this.. Less Chrome HD 3 however does quit working on restart .. noticed a few instances where the shadow is offset too far down but usually fixes after full page load.. I have many mods as well and even more minimal-ization than this was designed for... so this could be a one instance thing..
Love the transparency and added shadow.. however.. instead of having a -135 degree shadow. I think it would be better for appearance to have -90 degree.. no drop out in the shadow on the left bottom as if to have direct light from above..( sort of covers it from all angles that way - IMO :) )
Honestly I am so proud of the mods in my Fx4 I would show you a screen shot in what you have helped me accomplish.. TY very much for this extension..
Operates as it was designed. Creates a Collection of your extensions, for Collections on the site... Everything seems to be operating smoothly. In a matter of seconds I had create my first published collection today..
I do feel that for other actions such as back-up of settings and extensions .. or synchronization.. should not be included as this is not what the extension does. However 'greying-out' installed extensions within the extension manager which are already installed would be nice for version 3.6.6. ( but if I had to wait for 4.0 I wouldn't mind ). Mass installation of a Collection Packs I would see as irresponsible 'Extension Abuse' ( which only leads to an unstable browser and issues that are very hard to track down ) and I would report all of the devs involved to the clinic for processing immediately ( to dry-out from the extension snorting addiction... ) if I saw this feature added... LOL ..
Very nice, very clean, integrated very well.. does what it says on the box.. I'm happy..
This extension, when coupled with the Vidalia Bundle; ( as it was designed to be, I think judging by some of the reviews that nobody knows what this is used for ) does EXACTLY what it is supposed to do. Disables plugins and denies any leaked information to be obtained about your program or system. Neither will it allow any information to be stored in your system, be accessed, or 'data-mined'.
Protection is guaranteed, and a few incompatibility issues exist, however without these incompatibilities, web applications and scripts would still be able to get information about your system online and through the network. Small items which can allow a specific identifying 'fingerprint'. Best used when your system is set to use the Proxy, Vidalia is up, running, and properly configured, and improper network connections filtered to the Tor network..
Proper attention has to be given to the settings but overall..I give Five Stars... Does what it says... and holds true to its objective..
I currently am patiently waiting for the release of the next version which should be addressing the issue of the extension's info disappearing when you clear your privacy data. This is the one completely un-wavering thing I cannot accept in an extension. Hopefully soon!!
I gave three stars, Four if I wrote more JS...LOL
I actually love this ad-on and is great because it is hot-key accessible. I have used it in versions 2 and 3... I don't know what happens however, in both versions, ( which I have virtually the same extensions ) I have had repeated issues with the addon suddenly not working. It will hide the MenuBar, and not reveal with hotkey, nor will I be able to use my menu and I will have to activate Firefox in SafeMode to remove it.
I do love the addon however, and would love something like this for my Tab Bar, which I actually had until version 3 of FF.
