I find this extensions useful, although I think it could be more useful.
I find one usability issue with it. Currently I see no easy way to white-list a site, except to go into the Add-ons panel in FF, then find the Flashblock extensions, then click preferences, then manually type in (or paste, if you copy it from the site in question) the URL, and then return back to the page and reload it. Seems like a tedious way to manage which sites are white-listed. Sites that are flash based (i.e. they are non-functional when flash is blocked) have to be white-listed, so it would be great if there was a button and a context menu to turn flash block on/off, and to add/remove the current site from the white-list.
Other than this, it works well.
Somewhat slow to function, but it does the trick nicely.
Why this feature is not built into FF I have no idea. Seems so vital to useful bookmark management. "Go Parent Folder" is, as far as I know, currently the best replacement for the 1.x-2.x compatible "Locate in Bookmark Folders" extension.
I look forward to future releases of this Go Parent Folder extension... with improvements to its speed being the main thing I'd like to see.
Thanks for your great work and for making this available.
This extension adds some nice features for those people with lots of bookmarks (like me... I've been collecting them for over 12 years).
ISSUES: No FF 3.0 support, and no communication (that I am aware of) from the developer on this... thus it seems to be a dead project.
Could do with a built in LOCATE bookmark feature
Would be much more useful if it also enabled finding Folders. As it is, I have to think of a bookmark that's in the folder I am wanting to find, find that, and then locate that bookmark (using the Locate In Bookmark Folders extension).
I have an issue very similar to another reviewer. The "Please wait..." message pops up, and then the little "window" that was in shrinks to one just a few pixels high... and then vanishes entirely.
I suspect it might be a Theme compatibility issue. Will test this out with the default theme.
