easyMath (aka Insert Symbol)

This Add-On should be "Easy Char Map" Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I like the functionality of this add-on, and take note, I'm not using it for Math -- I'm using it like a quick Character Map.

I hacked the code a bit to force the Options Window to become bigger and show more characters in one panel. I also hacked the code so that it will show more Unicode Characters. The result is I was able to add Emoji in the easyMath panel for Facebook Comments! SCREENSHOT: http://i.imgur.com/S4Mp1CZ.png

Which leads me to make these SUGGESTIONS and FIXES:

1. Make the Options Window resizable so that it's more comfortable to browse the Unicode Characters.

2. Enable the Unicode Character Pages already. Make it useful not just for creating Math Equations, but also for Commenting on Social Networks, or composing Email with nice Unicode Dingbats and Emoji. This also will make it useful for Office Word Web or Google Docs online, because they lack a rich way to insert special characters.

3. Rename this plugin to "Easy Char Map" (consistent with easyMap and Windows Character Map Applet) or "Insert Symbol" (familiar to Microsoft Word users).

Today I got the new version of easyMath that fixed the "goes to end of line after inserting a char" issue, thank you for fixing. But I lost my hacks to the Options Window -- so I hope that my suggestions above will make it to the next version of this very useful add-on!

Thank you, and please remain great!

CoLT

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Hi! I'm a Colt User and I really love the ability to Copy Link Text or Location.

Can I make a suggestion? This should make it more intuitive to pick your menus.

CURRENT:
- Copy Link Text
- Copy Link Location

INTUITIVE:
- Copy Link Text "Amazon.com Online Shopp..."
- Copy Link Location "http://www.amazon.com/"

I'd love your menus to become Intuitive as illustrated above. This eliminates misclicks among those options (I frequently misclick :-/).

So putting a preview of what we are about to copy would be very nice!

Thank you dude for making this plugin, and I look forward to improvements! :D

SmartSearch

Excellent Add-On, But Needs A Better Name! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Excellent Add-On, but its name doesn't give it much credit!
Please change the name to "Keyword Search Context Menu"

Why? Because that's the first thing the comes to the users' mind when search for an add-on with such functionality. I bet that when you do this, more people will find your add-on on Google, and you will get more hits.

Custom Tab Width

Never encourage this developer, here's why: Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Dão Gottwald, the creator of this add-on, apparently is the same person responsible for the removal of "about:config" settings that let you customize tab widths. See for yourself: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=574654

Apparently, it's a very bad decision. We now need plugins for each about:config option removed. I am now reconsidering moving to Chome.

Leak Monitor

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I like this add-on and all its intentions.

But it's so unusable because it displays all information in many popup windows.

My proposed solution is to display everything in one separate window, and each leak report is in a tab.

Also, do not make this window steal focus when a new leak report is created. It's so disruptive especially during testing.

Other than that, this extension is a must-have! It helps the Firefox ecosystem make better use of computer resources.

Long URL Please

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I like the options this extension offers, like retain the link text, but change the URL.

Please add support for http://goo.gl/ URLs!

FaviconizeTab

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Good, but needs this enhancement:
Do not activate the tab when I use CTRL+Click. Let me Faviconize Tabs while staying on the current page I'm reading.

foxiFrame basic

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It does what it says -- a Title Bar-Free Firefox window BUT:

- Please make the window border still look like Windows 7 Standard.

- Prevent the right mouse button to drag-move the window. It's annoying and non-standard.

- Please remove the annoying ability to move the window when I accidentally drag the empty parts of the Tab Bar and Toolbar.

ShortcutKey2URL

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Useful addon, but I hope it has the ability to import my Bookmark Keywords (cuz most of them are made of 1 to 2 letters).

In fact, make it integrate entirely with Firefox Bookmarks! It will eliminate duplication of effort in defining my shortcut keys and URLs.

AutoPager

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Excellent add-on, this is the ultimate tool to browse pages in one window.

So useful, I already configured it to always enable on any site.

QUESTION: How can I reset the excluded sites?

Find Toolbar Tweaks

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This should be a Firefox default behavior!

CookieCuller

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Please fix the CookieCuller button size, it's currently bigger than the standard toolbar buttons.

UnMHT

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I think Firefox Team should hire the guy who created this add-on.

Flashblock

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Excellent job!

Please continue improving upon this concept, and extend blocking also to Java Applets, Silverlight, and Shockwave!

Highly Recommended Addon:
THIS SHOULD BE A FIREFOX FIRST-CLASS FEATURE!

CookieCuller

CookieCuller is a must-have cookie manager for power users Rated 4 out of 5 stars

CookieCuller lets you have detailed control on which cookies you should keep, and can delete the rest of the cookies every startup. This means it will also delete those sneaky Third-Party Cookies of ads and trackers.

CookieCuller, of course has lots of things it can improve on:

First, CookieCuller should provide a bonus feature that gives Firefox a toolbar button that lets the user toggle "Accept Third-Party Cookies". Firefox has problems when that option is disabled, but if we have this button, then we don't have to go though the Options dialog enable and then re-enable it.

Next, CookieCuller should group together similar websites so that I can protect/unprotect by groups.

I hope that CookieCuller will continue to evolve into the best Cookie Manager that Firefox itself should have from day 1.

Extension Manager Extended

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I like this extension, and I request for a "Visit Mozilla Page" command for each plugin. It could be as simple as performing this Google Search: http://www.google.com/search?btnI=I'm+Feeling+Lucky&q=site:addons.mozilla.org+Extension+Manager+Extended

Pocket

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Dude you rock!

I love the way you displayed the Unread Items count in the button.

And now we have the option to auto-mark as read items. Nifty I say!

I have another request that will increase the convenience using this add-on:

*** Please let us "Read An Item From My List" when I press the "ALT+W" shortcut on a blank tab.

You can do this, too, when we click the "Transparent Checkmark Icon" on a blank tab -- make it "Read An Item From My List".

This way we don't have to switch among shortcuts and buttons.
