Bulk Media Downloader

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Doesn't work at all. Was suggested as a replacement for DownThemAll but it doesn't detect even a single image on a page, but less offer ways to download it or other content.

Excellent! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm someone who constantly has a lot of tabs open (usually temporary things I want to come back to later and have no real need to bookmark) and the memory usage is insane. This is a much-welcomed tool for dealing with all that!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.17.0).

Send to Kindle for Mozilla Firefox

Great potential, but bugs are a problem Rated 2 out of 5 stars

When this works, it's great. The problem for me is that it keeps sending pages I didn't instruct it to send. If I hit the 'enter' key or spacebar on a page, the addon sends the page to my Kindle regardless of what hotkeys are setup for the addon. Needless to say, I've got all sorts of unwanted documents on my Kindle now because of this.

RescueTime - Productivity Meter for Firefox

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Either RescueTime is terribly inefficient or something is wrong. The RescueTime "Productivity Meter" has supposedly been gathering data for about a week now with no success. Not very productive... Using the latest version of Firefox and latest version of the addon.

Rubbish Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Contrary to what the developer says, this is *not* compatible with Firefox 4 as others have pointed out. The problem is that no menu comes up, leaving you with no way to control cookies using this app--which is the whole point of the app. After a long satisfied run with the app, I had to disable it when I upgraded to FF4 and that has jeopardized my privacy because cookies are no longer being filtered. This used to be a great add-on, now it's useless rubbish.

The fact that the developer hasn't so much as taken a few minutes to post an update to the description explaining the problems leaves me to conclude that either the project has been abandoned or the developer simply doesn't care about those of us who have been using the app before it stopped working. In either case, it's time to move on.

I used to love this tool, but I can't believe it hasn't been updated for Firefox 4. Not sure if this is due to poor planning (there's been plenty of time to prepare for FF4) or if WeatherBug has simply abandoned the tool. Either way, it's time to find a new weather tool.

It doesn't appear this was actually tested for Firefox 4. I'm unable to change cookie permissions for sites using the statusbar icon, which is the feature that makes this add-on valuable. After upgrading to Firefox 4, hovering over the icon now results in a small white square that does nothing for me.

Hardly an upgrade when it cripples my browser Rated 1 out of 5 stars

After upgrading to 2.1.102 I've been unable to use arrow keys to navigate web pages, spacebar to page up/down, or even use ctrl+c (copy), ctrl+x (cut), and ctrl+v (paste).

Looking at all of the other complaints I have to ask the obvious question: Did anyone test this "upgrade" before unleashing it on the world?
