This extension is very helpful. Selecting files via the browse button is inconvenient. Drag and drop is much more convenient.
Unfortunately, it is buggy. In the past it caused lockups at some pages. Now, those don't happen anymore, but it attempts to add files twice. Usually, this fails and you just get the file added once plus an error message which you have to dismiss. On some pages, files do get added twice.
This addon works well, but it doesn't make things more convenient for me. Accessing downloads takes more clicks when they're in a tab. It's also easier to inadvertently stop downloads by quitting Firefox. Also, the tab doesn't look very attractive. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.5).
If I had to pick just one extension, I would pick Adblock Plus. Ads are far too often obnoxious and annoying. AdBlock Plus removes that garbage and makes the web much nicer.
Many filter subscriptions are available, so it's all basically automatic. (There is no need to manually select and block ads.) You just pick the subscriptions you want, and the list of ad filters updates automatically.
AdBlock plus can also be used to find URLs of images, video and other files which are loaded by Flash or other plugins.
Very useful, because it prevents sites from behaving differently based on where I'm coming from. Works perfectly. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.8.11).
It would be nice if this worked. However, a LOT of things still aren't saved. This extension doesn't deserve to be called Save Complete. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9b11).
Good idea and it works. However, it's not visible enough because only a tiny part of the already small status bar icon changes. The entire status bar icon should change, preferably changing colour. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9).
myurlbar_a works great and makes Firefox easier and more convenient to use. For a while I tried to switch to Autocomplete Manager, but I had problems with it. I went back to myurlbar_a and I never looked back. Giving a 9 instead of a 10 because of some minor cosmetic issues which aren't a problem.
