Context Search

Almost perfect Rated 5 out of 5 stars

All it needs to become perfect, is to also show up, when you right click on a link. This would allow to use Context Search, to open links through for example web proxies or for whois search, etc.

Besides that, this addon is simple, and does exactly what it promises.

Together with Add To Search Bar, Context Search eliminates the need for a whole bunch of other addons. Even more, if it just worked with links also.

IP2Location IP Geolocation Plugin

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Only works on links. Not much use for me. Should work when you highlight an ip and right click.

gTranslate

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Now this the kinda add-on I like.

It does exactly what it's supposed to, without any unnecessary clutter.

Right click, and see the translation, and click on it, if you wish to go see it on the translate homepage. Perfect!

Add to Search Bar

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is great, but I need more options.I need to be able to edit how exactly the search is done. It should be as simple as just editing a line such as mysearch.com/?q=%term (Just an example), so I can get the exact search I want, including sorting parameters, included terms, etc.For example I want to create a "Feeling lucky" search, and also some google searches that already includes parameters like "site:somedomain.com".It would of course be idea, if the firefox crew were not clowns, since they should just have put the option to manually add a search in there.Anyway, awesome addon, that does exactly what it say, in a very simple way.

Switch to Tab no more

Does the job perfectly Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thanks.

It's really incredible that you need an add-on to avoid such a stupid function.

The "switch to tab" should be an add-on, so instead of needing an add-on to avoid it, you needed an add-on to get it. That would make more sense.

Firefox is getting more and more annoying, so it's great there's someone to make it usable again with add-on such as this one.

New Tab Homepage

Works as intended Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Does exactly what it says and nothing more. And it works with firefox 6.

Too bad we need add-ons like this, just because the people behind firefox are retarded. It is comon sense, that if you set a specific start page, then you most likely also want that page to open, when you open a new tab. At least we should have the choice. It would be such a simple setting. The people behind Chrome are equally dumb, since they also don't open the start page, and you also need an extension. Come on, it's just common sense.

But luckily there are people who made a perfect add-on like this, that does exactly what you need, and nothing more.

Status-4-Evar

thanks Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thank you so much for this addon. The people behind firefox have obviously become retarded. They have made several very bad choices lately.

And now they are trying to mimic Chrome. What's the point in that? If I liked the way Chrome worked, I would use Chrome.

It's fine to have the status hide by default, but to not even give me the choice to have it always visible, that's just plain dumb.

This add-on saved firefox for me.

Tamper Data

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

This program is great, but it is missing one of the most important features.

Where the heck is the ability to copy the url that is being called?

When you click tamper, the url is shown on the title of the window, but there is no way of copying it.

That's just useless. Please make sure to put the complete url, in a field where you can copy it, and of course you should be able to alter it as well.

View Cookies

great Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Why does the version 1.6 not automatically get updated to this verision. What's up with that?

Anyway, great add-on, makes it so easy to remove cookies from whatever site you are on.

CoolPreviews

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I don't see the point of this program. Just middle click on the links to open them in a new tab, or press shift while clilcking them to open in a new window. Pretty much the exact same thing. Cooliris just opens the links in a window. Not worth having a plugin for.

Cooliris 3D Wall

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It needs an option to open a picture in a new brower, without closing piclens. The way it is now, you have to start all over everytime want to go see the picture, which ruins the whole point of finding pictures with it.

A search history would be great too.

Locale Switcher

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

It doesn't work for me. It shows only english, even though I have 2 other languages added under the language setup.

Yes popups

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

And then the add-on has an uninstall button, that does NOT uninstall the program!

Yes popups

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This addon sucks. Or the description is VERY bad!

I downloaded it, because according to the description, the function of the add-on is to be able to "Temporarily disable popup blocking".

This add-on also does give you the option to do this. BUT, when this option is not used, it has modified the normal firefox poup behaviour to blocks ALL pop-ups, also good popups, and who wants that.

"I'm bored of ppl not even understanding the use of this extension"

Then maybe you should change the description to something that actually describes what the extension does.
However, this add-on instead blocks ALL oopups
