A vital extension if you use more than two tab groups! Very nice.
I would like to be able to choose where on the menu bar the menu is put, though - it would be better as a button (like Adblock plus)
And the second little menu to the right just looks like empty space, completely invisible and is useless. I've clicked on it by mistake several times.
It does exactly what it says. Hovering over a tab that is not the currently selected tab shows the URL/URI.
I have some ideas for the future of this theme and its options extension, but I don't find any public repository anywhere. Do you really do everything yourself? Anyway, I'd like to know if there's a way for me to submit some CSS or in any way help with development.
I don't know if this is a bug or a feature, but on linux, firefox 12, compact tab bar height 0 (default), there is a margin-top:1px that is clickable, and middle-clicking this one pixel above the tab, opens a new tab when I want to close the tab I'm clicking above. (I fixed this for myself by editing userChrome.css)
Also, an option would be nice to disable the transition of blue background when hovering over toolbar buttons. Everybody wouldn't want that, but an option couldn't hurt, right?
I have more ideas but this "review" is getting long.
I love that I can choose all the different quality options on youtube videos with downloadhelper!
The only negative I have to say is that because I like to set "Menu entry expiration" to a high number to remember my download history, the menu sometimes fills up with a lot of videos, so an option to right-click on the icon and choose "Clear old videos from menu" would be nice, thank you!
Used to be a good addon until I noticed a thing:
1. Only "search engines" like google and reddit gets their links marked by WOT-circles. Why not all sites everywhere? I've clicked on links only to discover AFTER I clicked it that the site was untrusted.
PS The latest version - 20120302 crashes Firefox 10.0.2!
Works just like you said it would - I don't have to go to the History menu. Works seamlessly and I can recommend this to everyone! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.0).
Just what I was looking for. Tried to use Greasemonkey before, but they remove flash animations and such AFTER the page is loaded. With this extension, they are never downloaded, just blocked. So now everything is sped up, and I don't even have to watch annoying ads! Thank you. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.5.1).
