I downloaded the add-on for Firefox and have the same pretty button as shown on the screen shot. Clicking that icon simply brings up a history of the one page I was able to save to Pocket from my tablet - i.e. Not Firefox.
I went into settings and tried to change the keys that Pocket uses, but I can't change them.
How does this thing work? How do you save stuff to pocket with this add-on? More info is needed.
This looks like it should be what I wanted - it puts a small icon on the bookmarks toolbar, clicking it opens a search box and the video plays in a small window top right.. Sadly, all that happens in Firefox 13 is the YouTube window draws and the video plays, but the screen is black and the video can't be seen. One to watch if this glitch can be fixed. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.4).
I just wanted a quick way to access my calendar in the midst of a telephone call. This does that well - drops down instantly. Well done to the developer!
My only suggestion to the developer would be to add a hint -"If the calendar seems slow to show the events, try reloading" into the "Your calendar should show in a few seconds" dialogue. The reload information is available in "options" but I waited a while before I thought to check the "options". Once reset, the drop down worked flawlessly.
Ditto the others. Using Tab Mix and close buttons are disabled (deal-breaker) and size of tab is bigger than any 8 pixels.
FirefoxView needs much better advertising!
I took almost 30 minutes tracking it down - but it was well worth the search.
I use CD/DVD software disks from magazines and dislike downloading using IE - now I can get back full functionality of Firefox 3.
Many thanks to the author.
P.S. Alex, maybe you should (reciprocally) advertise on the page for "IE View"?
A must-have for those with poorer eyesight, this is easy to use - it simply keeps re-sizing all text as you click the button. The double line (equals sign) usefully resets the page to original size. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7).
