Works well enough Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Something inside of my computer has been bugging out for a couple years now; certain types of hardware-accelerated video decoding will cause it to blue screen at unpredictable times. Flash video doesn't do this. So, this add-on has become essential to my ability to view Youtube without having to worry about my computer crashing at random times.
It mostly does what it says on the tin, but the main problem is that more than once now the add-on completely refused to load. I'll start Firefox up, and Youtube will go back to using the HTML5 player. There's not really any rhyme or reason why this is, and the only way to fix it is to close and re-open Firefox until it starts working again. It doesn't happen super often, but "more than once" is more than it should happen.
Once essential, that status is starting to slip Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Piece by piece, Youtube seems to be updating itself and is breaking a number of the modifications Youtube Center makes. If Youtube Center kept up to date with these changes it would be fine, but as of this writing, that has not happened.
