Deceptive Adware Rated 1 out of 5 stars
I had been noticing that web pages load slowly because Firefox is contacting a site called "www.superfish.com". I never installed an add-on for superfish. I repeatedly contacted superfish to ask what developer had installed their add-on and they never replied.
After one month I finally figured out that Awesome Screenshot Plus is doing this. They claim this is not Adware, but that is false. They claim the feature is disabled by default, but that is not true in my version.
This is a deceptive and abusive practice and Mozilla should refuse to accept add-ons from Diigo Inc.
I am an add-on developer myself, so I am not a naive user, and it took me a month to find out that Awesome Screenshot Plus was the installer of this adware.
